The units going in doesn't mean the halting site will be removed.
I said it before not so long ago on here that it isn't wrong to be concerned with immigration, its not racist or far right to be concerned with what's going on at the moment…but there is no way id involve myself with the protesters up there, they aren't doing themselves any favors with who they have involved, I've also seen not so subtle threats of Arson and violence on their Facebook page, also anyone who disagrees even slightly with them gets an onslaught of abuse.
Also the travellers have some neck to be out protesting with the damage they've caused the town, their only interest in this is the disruption to their drug dealing.
They could kill two birds with one stone and use it as a way to get rid of it in an ideal world yeah but it will remain their unfortunately
Mixing Refugees & Asylum Seekers in there with the likes of those travellers & those kinda people isn’t going do anybody any good long or short term.
That shouldn’t need explaining for obvious reasons like anti social behaviour & drugs.
I see there is reports of an accident on the Hayward the site, with ambulances and helicopter at the seen.
Looks like an on site accident, nothing to do with protesters etc
Yeah, that's what I said. On the site 😉

Its funny how we become objectors so quickly.
Aren't we lucky we've never had to actually live through a war.
If a war was to break out in Ireland that we needed to flee, which country would you go to for safety? The closest safe place or travel onwards thousands of miles further?
From "Protect and Survive", the British home office guide to what you should do in the event of nuclear war…
"Your own local authority will best be able to help you in war. If you move away - unless you have a place of your own to go to or intend to live with relatives - the authority in your new area will not help you with accommodation or food or other essentials. If you leave, your local authority may need to take your empty house for others to use. So stay at home."
I'd go to the first country that takes me.
380K Ukrainians in the Czech Republic vs 105K Ukrainians in Ireland.
Its a European crisis caused by Russia and not something that only border countries have to deal with.
Irish people have had to flee the country pretty much since the States foundation. And have went to all corners of the world…..
Can anyone tell me what's going on with the almost demolished ex- Telecom Eireann site in Thomas Street. It seems to be an outside loo now (based on the behaviour of a man in a 181 reg Audi who pulled in there for a slash as I witnessed recently)?
It was knocked to keep the junkies out and I think there is planning permission for a housing scheme there. Not sure why there is no progress there lately though.
Anyone have any "South East Stage Rally" map of the rally based around clonmel for July 14th can't find any information the route it's going this year.
Skellig Rock.Be pretty safe there.
Friend of mine visiting clonmel wants to know where's the best spice bag in town if anyone can recommend.
