Here we go again. Hopefully we'll see some great matches over the next fortnight.
That was a surprise…
thats some break by novak
Alcaraz broken when serving for match! Wow
wtf
Rage, rage…
Well... that service game didn't go as planned
Didn’t see that coming.
How did he come back from that, unreal to save the match from 0-40
nothing got to do with your stupid comment though xox
TThis will be quite the test for Alcaraz.
Bonkers.
Whoever shouted as that ball in the air on 40-30 should be swiftly ejected.
Jaysus don't fall apart now.....
2-1, some turnaround when alcaraz was 40-0 up serving for the match
Just in the door traveling back from of all things a tennis tournament
Was expecting to just be watching highlights but that's some break from 3 match points
2-1?
Are you a time traveller?
Still 2-0 and on serve on my telly....
Much more like it from Alcaraz on that service game, into the tiebreak we go!
Might be watching from the mainland, they're an hour ahead.
Must think whoever gets to 6 wins the set.
Even Djokovic has to laugh at the ridiculousness of that!
Alcaraz does it on 4th match point, well deserved even with the brain fart serving for the match!
Djokovic what a battler he is, kind draw but superb to make the final given that recent operation.
He really did want to get set to watch the big game later
Really poor final. Novak was awful. You'd worry about the future of tennis here. Alcaraz lack of concentration against poorer opposition seems to be the only thing that stops him.
Jesus can you really not find anything positive at all to say after that great win?
I'll be unsubscribing soon if all that "tennis is doooooomed" shite starts up again (as it is 100% guaranteed to do)
Djokovic made a lot of unforced errors and made some strange shot decisions. But Alcaraz played well in fairness and made some unforced errors of his own. I think it was a mistake for Novak not to have a coach in his corner, he was all on his own when things went wrong. No shame though for Djokovic, he's 37, playing someone 16 years younger than him, and he's only recently returned from knee surgery.
And the crowd, some of them at least, were poorly behaved.
Mad to think that Alcaraz already has 4 titles, when Roger was 22 winning his first.
hahaha worry about the future of tennis? Alcaraz has won 4 out of 4 finals in 3 different surfaces. Now streets ahead of the big 3 at 21. Tennis will be fine. This man is a star.
Well that was a nervy finish to the match, but what a brilliant result 😍 Well done Alcaraz 😎
What great win? There only ever looked like one winner. It was a really disappointing final. There's no point pretending otherwise.
