It's pretty crazy that a roof top directly across from the stage, had a shooter on it, and he was not even noticed by those who's one job was to notice, no one challenged the shooter, he's on the roof with rifle, public saw him, public told cops, and still nothing. Secret Service, more like Room Service. It was such an obvious vantage point, and it was left unmanned .
Why would he need to invade in 22 Trump was already actively helping him dismantle the country internally during his first term that would continue with the 2nd term, Russia used Trumps shakedown call against Zelensky and was fostering a narrative of nazification of Ukraine etc., Putin wouldn’t have been as desperate to strike to maintain his own favorability, because Biden and Zelensky were working to fold Ukraine into NATO (something Trump never would have done), but we will never know - what we do know for sure is it’s absolutely absurd to suggest Trump was a good thing for Ukraine, he had already handed Putin Crimea.
I don't know how you could come to that conclusion given that strong indications have been basically given that Ukraine would not be given support. Even more recently, not only have threats been made that some NATO members would be abandoned if invaded, explicit calls for Russia to invade those who weren't paying their fair share were made.
If you are against Ukrainian refugees here, you wouldn't want to be in a situation where Ukraine is abandoned in whole or in part. Because those that are here will be here for good and they will be joined by many others should Russia prevail there.
usually the response from the right to a shooting is 'give the good guys guns'
let every maga take their guns to rallys from now on, i'd tune in to watch that, be like squid games
It's funny how the people who think this was staged haven't tried to explain the dead shooter.
So still nothing, still no evidence, the same nonsense already discredited multiple times on the forum already.
so you'd be ok with Putin declaring war on all of us until Trump gets his way? Yeah, that's dictatorship for ya.
The only deflecting is coming from you … you've provided zero evidence to back up your claim and completely ignore his actual conduct towards Ukraine, towards Russia, and recent speeches about not coming to help NATO countries if attacked.
“You have to finish up, you have to get the job done. And you have to get on to peace, to get on to a normal life for Israel, and for everybody else.”
“What I said very plainly is get it over with, and let’s get back to peace and stop killing people. And that’s a very simple statement. Get it over with. They’ve got to finish what they finish. They have to get it done. Get it over with, and get it over with fast, because we have to, you have to get back to normalcy and peace,”
What should he say about a conflict that gets worse and worse? Not get the job done ie. not get the hostages back and get to peace?
His actual quotes paint a completely reasonable picture yet you both use snippets to validate Biden's actions. As if as usual, Biden has no power when he does wrong.
I never suggested Trump gives a toss about Ukrainian people but keep deflecting. Putin would not have invaded in 22 if Trump were president. Like it or not and we’d all be better off, including the dispersed people who are now all over Europe yearning to return home
Nonsense, invasion in 2022 happened largely because Trump had embolden Putin the 4 years he was in office. Trump weakened confidence in NATO playing into Putins hands.
If Trump had been in charge Ukraine would be now under Russian control as would Montenegro. The Baltics would currently be in the process of being over-run.
Trumps presidency was the most destructive in American history.
There is a reason presidential historians ranked Trump as worst president ever and that sure doesn't happen if you have an "uneventful" time in the WH. Even Republican historians have him ranked in bottom 5…
the only arms Trump will suspend are those to Ukraine. He’s promised as much. He will hang the Ukrainians out to dry. https://www.politico.eu/article/donald-trump-ukraine-russia-war-threatens-cut-aid-election-2024/
Just like he did last time

GET THE JOB DONE. That was Trump's comment to Israel. Carte blanche to go for it without regard to civilian casualties.
Evidence Trump would have acted differently = zero.
Well actually the evidence is Trump would have sent even more arms, without conditions, and no aid for Palestinians.
If ever there was an example of wanton blindness… it is going around that somehow Trump would be any better for Palestinians than Biden. The same Trump who was ok with the Jerusalem capital move, the same Trump with close ties to Netanyahu.
All the evidence shows the opposite.
Trump wants Israel to “finish the job”
It’s a 2 candidate race and only one of them has ever suspended arms shipments to Israel, the other categorically won’t.
Call me crazy but wouldn't it be reasonable to expect these things to happen while they were president.
If ever there was an example of wanton blindness, it is people who hate what Israel are doing while supporting the man who increased arms shipments and threatened the ICC for investigating the resulting war crimes.
You're absolutely deluded.
Trump is America first and wouldnt give **** about Ukraine and infact would probably cheer on this friend Putin.
I don't have any issues with what Trump started in Afghanistan. I only take issue with how it happened, and it was a disaster, and it was avoidable. People falling off planes etc. was not the previous administration's fault. It could have been done right, or better at least.
It kind of ridicules the idea of a US president having any power if you argue that the way it transpired was written in stone and the sitting president couldn't have done better.
I had a look. It's absolute crank nonsense. At the start of the video analysis he says that the agent on the roof behind 'fires' and Trump goes down.
The agent isn't 'firing', he's clearly flinching in response to the incoming gunfire from the shooter.
Trump was always going to beat biden. This just ensures it.
Usa is dying in front of us.
All of the above you mention is small fry compared to 2 major wars all started under bidens watch. The world was a more peaceful place with trumps isolation policy
Straight from the horses mouth:

And his negotiation with terrorists codified as treaty, selling out the lawful democratic government of Afghanistan:

Which just to rub things in, they wanted the Taliban schmoozed at camp David to ring in the negotiation - on an anniversary of 9/11:

Your attempts to downplay this cretins actions because of yesterdays events are truly disgusting. Or perhaps you just have no idea, and that’s pitiful.
It is absurd to pretend Biden's hands were tied and that exit was Trump's fault. His own generals in charge of it put it down to the white house's failings.
Not a bad summary tbh.
There was a conflict in Ukraine during trumps time an there was/is conflict in the ME too, both inherited, it escalated to a war when Russia full on invaded Ukraine, and it could be argued that we have come closest to ww3 when Iran fired on Israel too, both of these occurred during Biden time, there is no doubt when we do a comparison of the 2 then which is likely to have more influence over other world leaders, and as such keep the peace.
if his presidency was uneventful I have a bridge to sell you.
Nothing internal about setting up Afghanistan to fail within months of leaving office for one
I'd be willing to bet the late Mr Crooks was just some suicidal incel loser looking to leave his mark on the world. Probably a toss-up between taking a potshot at Trump and shooting up his former high school…
You forgot the covfefe incident.
As I said, fundamentally uneventful.
If I gave you the bullet points of the two presidencies to come in 2016, you'd say Trump was in power the last three and a half years.
You're an American on an Irish website, arguing the internal politics of two presidents to people who largely care about the external politics. That difference is constantly evident.
