US presidential assassination attempts are not exactly uncommon and the attempt on Trump doesn't erase what he's done, what his likely to do or somehow change him into some sort of functional adult worthy of respect.
And to the posters who laugh at any sort of comparison to Hitler; you do understand that the comparisons aren't made to Hitler in his fully fledged fascist stage in a fully fledged fascist state? The comparisons are to Hitler on his rise to the position that most of humanity seem to know him for. He did not pop into existence as the fascist leader of a fascist state out of the blue. It was a process.
That was 1944, we had a fair idea what Hitler was then.
Pretty much my take on politics. There is no "good vs bad". They're all bad.
I'm fairly certain by now that all top level politicians in the world are psychopaths and they hate us all.
Yet strangely enough there were less wars during Trumps time in office, and if re-elected the Ukraine and Middle East wars would pretty much end within weeks.
