The image of Trump clenching his fist after having taken a grazed wound from a bullet may well be the defining image of the election campaign. A show a strength in contrast to a feeble cognitively challenged Joe Biden. It's going to make it nigh impossible for the Democrats to paint Trump as a loony threat to democracy going forward for the rest of the campaign.
It may even aid Biden in his staying in the race as the Democrats may conclude that the shooting makes Trump an unbeatable candidate irrespective of who they put up against him. Surreal times we are living in.
