People living in their media bubble in the States have lost their sense of perspective where common sense, basic humanity and logic is concerned.
I'd compare it to:
" people are saying it's a pity the bullet missed Hitler, I hope there will be repercussions".
Americans have absolutely no idea how much Trump is despised, rejected, feared ( not by us, but for you and your country), ridiculed and loathed. He is the exact opposite of everything that was ever good. Republicans, who for years have always been traditionally the bad guys due to the kind of people representing and attracted to, are so far gone that they have absolutely no idea that they are on the wrong side of history.
I used the word "media" above in its literally sense. Trump sympathisers will see that word, stop reading, and completely focus on it as they think it jabs at Trump. That's how fearfully ridiculous it is.
Donald Trump is a dangerous narcissistic who should not be allowed anywhere near power. Stop protecting a potential dictator.
A couple of interviews coming out that eyewitnesses were pointing to the gunman and warning police for 2-3 minutes before the gunshots. I remember when Obama came here there was secret service on every roof top and security was really tight. It would appear that security was missing at the Trump rally. The reason why needs to be confirmed.
Thank Christ the shooter appears to have been a 'lone gunman' type.

20 year old Thomas Matthew Crooks from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania confirmed as the shooter by FBI.
Still can't believe Trump was so nearly killed today. Any trained shooter would have taken him out from that distance. It's insane someone got so close, had the chance to take multiple shots, and missed their chance. Millimeters away from the biggest US political event in decades.
Three spectators were injured and one of them is dead, so no, it wasn’t an air gun. (I know it’s not impossible that they could be victims of the police riposte but as the shooter was in the roof that’s less likely)
Much as I dislike Trump and fear the consequences of his potential re-election on the rest of the world, I have to say this occurred to me too: he really is one tough MF to have had the presence of mind to react like that.
Alternatively, I suspect he may have sold his soul to the devil.
