I’m surprised the shooter didn’t have blue hair; those with TDR usually do. Insane to see an assassination attempt like this come so close in the modern US, would have thought these days that it is close to impossible to get a clean shot at someone like that, maybe the fact Trump is not currently president means his security isn’t quite the presidential package?

The overarching Democrat message has been that Trump must be stopped at any cost, and I made a benign statement that this messaging will be toned down and language like putting Trump in a bullseye won't be used anymore. This is absolutely going to happen after an assassination attempt since a bullet is an example of "at any cost". The messaging will be changed to "at the polls".
You come out with a nonsense combination of Pelosi, January 6th, and now Gabrielle Giffords in response to this benign statement, and then tell me to read your posts slower. You're the most argumentative poster on this site and the fact you still haven't addressed my actual statement about messaging shows this.

Pelosi was victim blamed. Trump mocked her and her husband. Trump has received nothing if not overwhelming sympathy from all sides after being attacked tonight. Worth highlighting how the very people he mocked for surviving their own attempts on their lives (because of trumps rhetoric against them many would argue) are thanking god he is okay now.

I already gave it to you: Democrats will treat the moment with the seriousness it deserves. Trump invites his own headlines claiming to be a day one dictator and when it’s a Democrat under attempted assassination, they don’t “tone it down” they categorically mock it, and double down. Direct evidence of contemporary example involving Trump himself given.
The WH already issued a statement saying it was glad he was alright and we should unify against violence. What did Trump do when Pelosi’s husband was attacked because she wasn’t home? He made jokes about it. His party mocked her and her husband. Night and day apart between the democrats and the republicans.
I said the Democrats will tone down the rhetoric after this. Do you have any opinion on that statement?
