Getting shot at is a good indicator of a person’s makeup as it’s impossible to know how you will react until it happens. (Yes, I’ve been shot at). Make of him what you will, but he was on the ground before the Secret Service could tackle him, and having the presence of mind to put the fist in the air / gesture of defiance on the way out is going to do him well.
I’m curious as to where all the bullets went. If you listen to the audio, it seems there were quite a few shots, even assuming some of those were police going back the other way. Waiting for reports of other injuries.
