Why Cory Hill ?. Had thought he had left Welsh rugby after the bottle throwing incident and wouldn't be available for selection. WRU rules must be different for non-cap internationals.

The Cory Hill news came after the Cardiff news. Both are bad IMHO. The Hill one is shocking to be truthful.

In my option welsh rugby does itself no favours with the public by the appointment of Cory hill as captain for this weekends game, in a much greater factor than putting a Bristol game on in the principality while Cardiff are playing away in South Africa (a game Cardiff fans won't be travelling to)
People give out about WRUs governance and the financial predicament they are in, and then when they try to get some money in on a free weekend at their main stadium, they are pilloried by the very clubs that will benefit from this.
Is this WRU Bristol decision at least looking like it'll yield a nice payday for the Union? 'cos if it doesn't even result in a healthier bank account, what on earth is the point here?
I was very interested to see what effort Sky Sports put into their Rugby Union coverage for the summer internationals.
Sky used to be a powerhouse of Rugby..…with regular presenters, pundits etc....now they are just thrown together...

Its a bonkers decision by WRU and very short sighted. The WRU should be promoting the Welsh club game and URC not making it easier for Welsh fans to defect to its competitor (in terms of fans and tv audience), the Premiership.
Bristol are a realistic rival to Cardiff when it comes to attracting fans. This gives them a leg up in the area to attracting fans who want to watch the premiership. It is awful by the WRU to allow this without discussion with the clubs. Would the IRFU allow a premiership game in the Aviva without informing the clubs? I highly doubt it.
To be fair to WRU, it's really nothing to do with the club sides. No idea why they think they should have been consulted.
