Gambling is still a big growth industry. Its just that it has mostly moved online - 7 X 24. The exception is casino gambling.
i prefer gambling online , open 24/7 and no need for cash, a couple of clicks job done. very handy
Well done on naming 3 of the biggest reasons why online gambling is incredibly dangerous and bad.
At least in a physical bookies, if you lose your cash you have to leave and go withdraw money out of an ATB go back to the bookies and hand it over again. It's effort and makes you think twice. Online gambling does not.
Fully agree.
I don't get applauding the bookies closing down, at least they employ people locally. It's not a sign of reduced gambling, it's a sign of it heading into a poorly regulated online environment.
It's bad news.
True but won't be an advert to kids etc is one plus.
