What'd he say again?
LePen won't win a majority.
Run offs are this Sunday so its still too early to call. A hung parliament is the most likely outcome but it swinging to LePen isn't unforeseeable either.
The Macron faction and parties allied to it will win a comfortable majority in the runoff, as Phillipe predicted. There will be the usual horse trading but there won’t be anything close to a hung parliament.
I think you might wanna read up on what a hung parliament means.
No polling indicates an outright winner. You're entitled to your opinion but there's no evidence to support it right now.
Speaking of good political predictions, Brace and Liz nailed Trump-Biden, too
hope Ken doesn’t talk about Kroos’ indiscretions too much after that
How did the English lads not give a penalty to Germany? One of the maddest decisions I’ve ever seen simply because it’s so obvious VAR should be able to easily tell him to correct his mistake but they didn’t.
Plenty to talk about anyway.
why did you believe it was a penalty?
Stone wall penalty.... For me
why?
I thought the arm was up slightly (albeit marginal) but you see them given a lot.
up?
I mean away from the body obviously not up in the air. For me it's a penalty and that screenshot only proves it more.
It’s wild anyone would try to claim it wasn’t an obvious penalty. Literally every other instance where the ball has hit someone’s hand that’s away from their body in the box has been given as a penalty in the tournament. The refereeing crew will be quietly stood down again and everyone will pretend the **** up didn’t decide the game.
Its entirely possible Fullkrug was offside or handled it himself in the build up and therefore, the correct decision was reached.
People are just jumping on this because it's English refs in VAR.
ok, don’t say “up” when you mean away from the body, according to the rules it isn’t
Ha very pedantic of you.
Hes having this argument in two threads. It's very obviously a penalty and everyone agrees it is apart from this poster.
I'm obviously ignoring if Fullkrug was offside/handled it himself in the buildup.
yeah maybe. But …as a wider point it’s seems they’ll have to reform the handball rule completely. The rule is too complex for the average football fan to follow. Todays incident just wasn’t a penalty according to the rules but many many are claiming it was so we have a problem
Shane Duffy is a better finisher than every player who played today
Even when drunk
Ken and Miguel are describing a game that did not take place here
Edit: At least they know Taylor made a complete hash of the penalty decision
Ken offered no opinion on the penalty decision. Miguel said it probably would be in continental Europe but not in the premier league.
I thought it was a fair enough decision tbh.
In real time you could see that he was trying to get his arm in - I'm sure that played a part in why it wasn't given.
But, hey, I get why we're all confused by these things.
Unclear to me how MD: "the penalty decision is explainable" and Ken not offering an opinion is them saying Taylor made a complete hash.
You must just hear what you want to hear on these pods.
Quality German hard rock tune to finish the pod with.
Yeah, that tune was a banger.
Will there be a pod this evening? I'm already looking forward to the England chat.
Wish I was listening to it now, instead of watching this sh*te.
Southgate is the scientific definition of a jammy c*nt
