All the fecking grey!
Too many sheds around the house for my liking and then what do I spot a house right next to you that you do not own. Are they having a laugh at that price or what. There was other houses posted here I'd prefer to spend that much on if I had it than this house.
The house next door is part of the same family… they run a free range turkey farm.
I figured that but that's fine and dandy when you are related but me an outsider moving in and their on top of me or I'm on top of them. Wouldn't work for me especially when spending that much on a house. There was Fabulous houses posted on here in the past for less or the same price with the luxury of privacy you would expect for a house in this price range.
A bit gobble gobble with the price so?. Apologies I could not stop that woeful 'joke' surfacing
Would the farm continue to operate? The smell and noise would be horrific.
They are a higher class of bird out there.. they dont do the gobble gobble stuff.
Thats enough fowl language.
you’d be sorted for the Christmas tho.
it’s the 22 acres in an expanding Enniskerry that is driving that price.
There’s a new development north of it on google maps and Enniskerry town to the south so only a matter of time until it’s no longer a farm
Agreed but wow it really is on top of the family/business/neighbours
A small bit of renovation needed......
Just a bit, but the grounds are already done. 😄
It's a listed monument so I'd imagine you'd be working to very strict criteria. It's a pity the OPW didn't renovate and keep it, the cost was probably prohibitive.
Ah BER exempt, that's a no from me 🤣
True, you could move in and discover it's freezing. 😂
Would it be the OPW selling that castle then? That's a mental price. You'd need some Jeremy Irons type yank with more money than sense to buy that and attempt to restore it.
Never judge a book by it's cover.
( thought the house looked ugly but the inside.... Quality.)
I think it's awful.
Looks like a tacky Hyacinth Bucket house to me.
I thought they were being sarcastic.
I'd keep some of the tiled floors , maybe the Belfast Basins in the kitchens and the rest would be skipped.
As for the outside, its very dated.
To the manor born, albeit with some dubious decorating choices.

jeepers!!! Going through those pics was quite the journey!!
I bet those dogs will miss living there.
There is a lot about that house that I really like.
But I have an absolute abhorrence of ceiling beams. 😕 I just never like them.
Also not a fan of tiled floors in living rooms.
That portico is really out of place there. I like a good portico as much as the next person but i wouldn't stick that on the back of my house. Even if it did annoy a posh dude that died 200 years ago.
I’ve driven past it many times and it looks even worse in the flesh!
I don't understand why they didn't do it separately to the house, or not at all.
Man alive!!
The owner of that has to have been colour blind, surely?
And looking at that kitchen/dining room makes me twitch.
Love the garden though, but wouldn't fancy all the hedge clipping!!
I couldn't cope with the pillared hall or the portico affair, otherwise its ok, presumably they'd be taking the furniture and the blue walls would be easy enough to deal with. I am not likely to be buying a 1.5m house though so it doesn't really matter!
This is pretty cool.
