Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Book of Mormon is hilarious. Do not bring those who are easily offended!

Nice. Couldn't go last time as we got too drunk beforehand and knew we'd be liabilities 🙈
Oh, wow. I've been strongly urged to see this! Good stuff.
Book of Mormon is returning to Dublin in 2025. Exact dates TBC. Looking forward to it as I couldn't go last time around due to Covid.
Doesn't really mean anything. He played a number of the same cities announced for the 2025 tour in 2022, even the same venues in some cases. In some of the bigger countries (eg France, Germany) he's playing different cities as there's enough population/geographical spread to do so, but he's revisiting Zurich in Switzerland, and Copenhagen (twice) after doing 4 gigs there in 2022.
3 weeks off in the middle of July too, nothing to stop a few gigs in UK/Ireland then. Or indeed a few in May. Ireland more likely in May due to stadium availability. July better for UK dates as Premier League finishes mid-May.
Forgot he played back in 2022
I would love a Eminem greatest hits tour. New album coming out so you never know.
nah it’s same tour that he played here in 2022. It’s final lap of it
Ed Sheeran has announced European dates for next summer, looks like a greatest hits run. No UK/Irish dates yet
Possibly but still unlikely. They will pretty much only play stadiums these days and play very limited gigs per year. If they continue the no repeat weekends and think they can sell 50k *2 at the Aviva then there’s a chance.
……………
it’s not air system, it’s the seat mechanism for the downstairs stands when it’s a fully seated show.
I heard its a complete renovation of the air circulation system, they have been using the "big ass fans" for a while now and it's crazy that they need them to cool the place down, it's been crazy warm in there in recent months at shows
Not too confident but would be great to see Paul McCartney here next year
Maybe PUC or Aviva,
Not for lead vocals she doesnt.
you think pink doesn’t use a backing track for vocals?
What
Me and Elton it seems
"Madonna, Best Live Act? F**k off," Elton told the shocked audience. "Since when has lip-syncing been live? Sorry about that, but I think everyone who lip-syncs on stage in public, when you pay like 75 quid (pounds) to see them, should be shot.
Pink uses backing tracks but not for lead vocals and her show is energetic, so if she can do it everyone else can.
When is 3Arena closed? Peter Kay and Billie Eilish are there in July. It was basically closed for a few months this summer with nothing booked from early July to early September and was apparently supposed to be doing works, until a few months ago when they put a few August events on last minute (which seem far too small to be in the 3Arena). There's nothing on in January and most of February 2025 too.
Unless they're doing a whole refurb of the venue inside, nothing takes 2+ months of closures…..
Olivia Rodrigo I could see doing Marlay Park or even the Aviva Stadium if she ends coming back for festivals.
Fontaines have extensive touring plans for 2025 according to their tour manager, is there a possibility we see a big outdoor date from them?
I would say they’re quite likely next year as they only did the European festival scene this year and had a proper European tour cancelled in 2022. They usually wind up doing Ireland once per album as well
Rds is a.no go.for.summer 2025 as the works are due to go right upto October and the 3arena is shut for a few months next summer, so expect marley, malahide, croker, aviva, st.annes, fairview, kilmenham and I wouldn't be surprised to see phoenix Park back as a venue,
My 3 kids love him, I barely know who he is. So that's 4 or 5 (including mammy) going if he does a gig here. Never under estimate the power of kids music (Taylor Swift, Harry Styles etc)
Could we see Metallica playing a gig here next Summer?
Yeah they did back in 2011 with Elbow, Thin Lizzy, White Lies etc so decent support. If they priced it right and had decent support you'd never know sure.
when an act is hot there hot. Sure didn’t KOL do Slane one year at height of popularity
Surely there's a natural ceiling though. Croke Park seems fairly ambitious seems for next year. More established acts like Kings of Leon struggling to sell out Marlay Park this Saturday in comparison. Guess with younger fans and Kahan getting very popular maybe it's not beyond the bounds of possibility but think next year a bit soon personally.
No way is he big enough for Croke Park. He's only doing two nights in the O2 in London comparatively (40k total) and outside of a major surge in popularity this year, the hype will either plateau or die down. A couple of nihjys in the 3Arena at best.
Sure Olivia Rodrigo who is a much bigger artist was limited to two 3Arena shows this year and Billie Eilish who is even bigger again is doing two 3Arena shows next year. No way is Noah Kahan getting bigger space then them.
if an artist can sell over 30,000 plus tickets for Belfast in an hour they can comfortably do the aviva at 50,000 or 2x marlay at 35k a night or be within spitting distance of croke park. Depends if the hype and popularity holds itself
Has he got that big?
