Ya-Boy-Ya

Can anyone tell me the best way to get in and out of Marley Park concerts ?

Ive been before and had to walk miles and miles before I could get a taxi home. Ridiculous

Ive read and car parking is €25 euro and extremely limited

Taxi out is impossible

Any ideas ???

Doesn't seem to have impacted the dress code - t-shirts, sleeveless tops, short shorts. At risk of sounding like my mother, they'll catch their death when they come out at 11pm all sweaty and have 30-60 minute walk to civilisation or parent's car.

He was having other people sing some of the lines throughout the night.

He still gave it socks on a couple of the bigger songs though but I'd say his vocal chords are struggling with this many 3 hour + shows

Quick question, I had issues about 5 years ago with Taxis from the city center not willing to go to Marlay Park when there is a gig on. Illegal, but it is what it is. Can someone recommend a good spot within walking distance to Marlay Park that a taxi driver might drop us off at.

Depends on the direction you are coming. Supervalu on Ballinteer Avenue, Circle K on Taylors Lane, Ballinteer Community School on Stonemasons Way/Broadford Road are all about 10 minutes walk and outside the cordon.

Anyone have any ideas for Blue Badge Parking. One of our crew is in a chair, don't fancy getting held back for two hours after the gig going to the accessible parking spot. Don't fancy having to push the chair too far either.

It's on College Road so a good bit of pushing to the gig and you might have to go over the mountains or to Sandyford to avoid the crowds afterwards.

You could try the car park at Supervalu Ballinteer. They usually put up signs telling concert goers NOT to park.

Google says the S8 (formerly the 75) goes past Marley park. Is this still the case when a large concert is on there or is the route diverted?

Saw people getting on a regular Dublin bus right at concert entrance on Grange Road as I went in to Green Day around 7pm last Thurs , road is open to traffic - it does close later though when gig over

There will be diversions on the S8 after the gig, from 21.30 onwards. Its a good bus to get to the gig though!
