This is also someone who has form for similar nonsense and, as another poster mentioned, whenever a Burke has a court date, a few of them show up in order to disrupt the proceedings.
This was a case of a savvy judge knowing how to cut them off at the source. Such approaches should be taken in the case of similarly disruptive troublemakers.
So you don't think much of our democracy then? Contempt of court,, harass members of the judiciary and the legislation are a direct attack on democracy because it denies people their right to due process before the law, representation in the various institutions and so on. The only crime about that is treason and that carries a 40 year tariff!
All countries take these matters very serious because of what they represent not because of physical act itself. If you can't get that there is nothing we can do.
A lunatic shouting and screaming at coroners inquest into the death of a child is something I would have thought would be very likely to create a great deal of anguish and distress in a small local community. It may very well have been a decision that could have defused a much more serious incident.
Sounds like it's you who hasn't much regard for democracy or even the concept of innocent until proven guilty
Ms Burke had no time to prepare a defence, very strange
there are kinehan cartel members who shot people who weren't subjected to shotgun trials
Ms Burke could have been detained for twenty four hours but any court proceedings should have followed a natural course
This was Stalinist style justice
trials for murder and attempted murder do not take place in district court.
Don't be a pedantic Pete
Oh the Irony!!! 🤣
I don't think you know what that word means
I don't think you have made a single post on this thread that was not entirely disingenuous.
apologies. I didnt mean to present facts that interfere with your victim narrative.
What "Defence" might she have prepared if given the time you claim she was denied?
Would it have been more of the "Gods law" bollocks that has served the rest of her family so well in their multiple court proceedings ??
I don't care about the weird family Burke, I do care about extraordinary judicial powers being employed against relatively minor offences
Dozens of far more egregious offences happen daily which cause distress but for some reason the media are fixated on this lot
perhaps they are not as extraordinary as you believe?
The real fixation seems to lie in your mind, not that of the media.
The media aren't the problem here. The Burkes are. All the deflection in the world will not change that.
She was disrupting the coroner's court. Incredibly distressing for anyone attending it and a quick resolution rather than letting her off to continue disrupting it is pretty sensible. Honestly you're sounding a bit like Gemma O'Doherty in terms of manufacturing scandals.
Like I said, countless other distressing offences occur daily around the country yet don't give rise to this kind of judicial action being taken
You don't think the media over report on them ?
By one family?
The correct legal procedure was followed to the letter.
There is no substance in the line you are pursuing.
Really?, so following Ms Burke's arrest, a typical course of action followed on the day?
It's not typical for a person to be disrupting the coroner's court so that leads to a different course of action to normal.

The conspiracy deepens. The feds are targeting people drinking and taking drugs! Mainstream media are in on the scam.
Am I missing something? What have 'the feds' to do with anything, and what connection does this have with the Bourkes?
oh look, a special sitting of the district court on a sunday. how very unusual.
Yes really.
The clue is in the name of the location of the disruption.
Coroners Court.
Random guy was arrested on Saturday for Drunk & Disorderly , his case was heard at a special sitting of the court on the next day , a Sunday no less.
Goes toward debunking the idea that the Burkes are somehow being targeted or treated differently by the Judicial system as alleged by some posters here.
“Today, he is sober and remorseful,” Mr Gallagher [solicitor] said.
Yeah, he sure looks very sober and remorseful in that picture alright!
Anyone who thinks this is at all unusual should do a search for "special sitting" "district court". Happens all the time. I see our freeman friend Antonio Mureddu is one of the top results btw…
The poster is showing a special sitting of a court (even on a sunday) sp sson of a person is arrested is not unusual. The poster was not been serious (am pretty sure) of a conspiracy
