Look if we lose then i'm sure we can keep the losing margin down to under 10 points! The bottom line is unless we improve on our performances against Offaly and Dublin then the show is over for this year.
There's a huge performance in us against Limerick i'd like to think, but we'll need a bit of luck to see them off as well.
I just worry about our tactics in defence and our lack of defensive organization in general. I just fear that like that all Ireland final in 2021 that they could really go to town on us there.
The Tailteann cup is just a secondary football competition though. They have a right to be on tv but not at the expense of the players competing in the McCarthy cup imo.

Probably better off going in written off, we may perform then but I can't see us getting the good start v Limerick again. That was vital in our last victory.
my argument against this narrative is , why not move the rugby to rte news now and change the time of the two hurling games , i cant say too much because our county board wanted it on the sunday , but didnt want to please david kent who went out to screw two of our players during covid
the argument should be why show a rugby game ahead of a gaa game rather then show a tailteann cup game ahead of hurling
game was over before dublin started to fight , they were miles off their men and cork took the foot off the gas , it never look liked costing them the game but its highly unlikely to happen again at any time two weeks sunday

Up 1-05 to 0-5 at the half. Haven’t looked potent going forward but snuck in a goal shortly before half time. Scoreline probably a bit flattering at the minute. Fairly desperate game in terms of entertainment.
Yes I find the football terrible to watch these days. Only really watch when Cork are involved and maybe the final. They need rule changes desperately.
A word on the GAAGO commentators who don't help matters.
For one, they sound incredibly bored. Which I don't blame them in some ways but they could at least talk up the game more. And second, they seem to love Louth and think Cork are terrible. Both teams doing the same kind of thing in my view. The co commentator was saying at one stage Cork were going nowhere down the side when the player pops it over the bar! This made me laugh out loud!!
