I'll pop in for the usual dose of 'not for me' craic. It is incessantly bright, every room is just so white or bright I don't think I'd ever remove my sunglasses again.
Other than that it's utterly beautiful, fantastic find..
I always start imagining how many times my house would fit into houses like that. 😁
Lots to like about it, and I agree, it's in a beautiful part of the country.
Or would all my bedrooms fit into one of theirs? 😂
Exactly 😁
There seems to be lots of very large mirrors in that house which are making some the rooms look alot bigger than what they actually are.
Its a lovely house but lack of a garden would be a deal breaker for me.
I assume it is two houses that have been combined?
Yes, the 2 were combined and the internal layout completely redesigned. They still kept the 2 front doors though.
Another candidate for the absolute worst effort in taking photos of a property. It's no semi derelict cottage either. I'd be fuming if I was the owner.

They've made a nearly 4,000 square foot house look like a two up two down. Incredible achievement.
Those are really bad photos. And it actually looks like a very nice house.
Those massive mansions up in Cavan are something to behold....i was shocked to see the volume of them when driving the backroads of Rural Cavan last year....
They are a Rare breed of folk up there....
I worked with a lady who was building her own house in Cavan. In chats, it came up that she was building a house with 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.
I asked was she planning a big family (in hindsight, a rude and inappropriate question on my part!) but she said no, no more than two!
The EA probably charges by the photograph and the Cavan man that owns the house wouldn't
allow too many to be taken. (€795,000 to live in Cavan, no thanks)
Good point about the garden. No where for my cats to roam! So I suppose that rules it out for me. ;)
I got a far as photo no.2. That two tone bannister would p1ss me right off!
Very often they are like that, but taking a photo that emphasises it so clearly is not necessary.
yep. And in the ariel photo you can see that there's multiple houses of the same type next to each other.
Different coloured bannisters and spindles I'v often seen but never two different coloured woods on the same handrail.
Anyway, they've re-done the photos now, so much better.
I'm no expert but I think it might need to be rewired. Wires, wires everywhere. They are mostly things to be plugged in but I am not getting a safety vibe!
And here we have the second bedroom, now "renovated" into an upstairs bathroom 😲

"South facing" apparently.
Lap up those rays!
Lots of money, but this is lovely. The house has been well designed to drink in the views.

not to everyones taste but serious money has been spent on that house inside and out.
Fab house, but getting a TeleTubby vibe from this pic. Also, the glass panels along the stairs..Imagine trying to keep them clean?
It looks like a renovated school from the outside!
I'm another who is not a fan of shiny tiles, and that angled kitchen island would drive me insane.
But other parts of the interior are lovely, and the views are absolutely gorgeous.
I do see Teletubbies though! :)
At least they AI'd the fireplace to be on, definitely make me want to buy it now.
Fabulous, but shiny (very shiny) floor tiles again, this time with marbling to make them extra unlikeable. I can nearly hear the echoing just looking at the pictures. I'd need to spend the purchase price again on rugs and non-slip liners!
But the views from those bedrooms - I would never get out of my bed again!
the bedrooms are ferociously uninspiring
Lovely views - Horrible house. I hate both the interior and exterior of that house. I shivered just looking at the photos. I know it probably has a great heating system but the look is still cold and uninviting. I could never feel cosy or comfortable in a house like that.
The first few exterior photos made me think of a school with lots of prefabs. Some lovely features, no doubt, in that house, and it's very well cared for. I have played the euromillions but it might be a bit big for me 😁
Nice warm fire in the bedroom while you take a dump!
