Feels like the right time to start a new thread for next year's gigs.
John Mayer playing the 3Arena on 29 March 2024.
Any idea prices for this? Not showing on TM or other websites I can find
Cure tribute band
Can't warm to these lads for some reason.
He's doing 2 nights back to back at large indoor arenas (smallest is Madrid at about 17.5k capacity). Cant imagine him playing an all seated 3Arena
I'm hoping to pick a ticket up for Paris (capacity around 35k for each of 2 nights). Worked out very well for the Who at La Defense last year, although the Paris riots did take place in the area a few days later
They're usually around €35 for their shows.
any idea on prices for McCartney tour?
Hey, we're heading to the Bloc Party gig in 3Arena. Doors are at 18:30, I don't think there's a support act. Any thoughts on when they might take to stage? I'm guesstimating 20:30 / 21:00 but it's a pure guess.
Looks like The Academic supporting in Dublin.
I'd say 8:30pm - 9pm on-stage is a comfortable guess given it's still over 2 weeks out.
The absolute earliest they will be on stage is 8.30 but closer to 9, I'd be surprised I'd another band is not stuck on the bill, very underwhelmed by the academic as support
For Manchester
Madrid are €95-€187
Pretty expensive but I'd think about paying it if he does play here before be kicks the bucket
Cheers. Good to know I'm not far off with my guesstimate.
I'd be interested in catching some The Academic too TBH. Will plan accordingly :)
Reckon this is still accurate?
Just looking at the Crowded House presale in the 3Arena and disappointed to see it's fully seated gig. I much prefer standing don't understand why they don't have a standing area. Perhaps they don't expect to get the same numbers as you would with say Depeche Mode which was the last gig I was there at.
It will be a pain trying to figure out what's the best seat to buy for best view of the stage
I was at Clapton and it was all seated. Got seats in block E. Perfect view.
I prefer standing too but the best thing about all seating in the point is the sound is great.
Pearl Jam are selling merch in Whelans tomorrow from 12-7pm. Wonder is it cos MCD would be taking a cut from their merch sales from the gig?
They'll be selling it at the gig as well. This is for fans who want to buy in advance and not have to lug it around at the gig.
No, this is set up purely to milk as much money out of the S̶u̶c̶k̶e̶r̶s̶ fans as possible.
Agree, handy like the penultimate post and agreed, for more money like the last post
The level 3 pricing will do for me
Missed the last Dublin gig they played here (had a ticket for the 2020/21 gigs that were postponed due to Covid). Pity I have Rammstein on Sunday cause that lineup down in Cork looks great (Crowded House, The Waterboys and Amble)
€78.50 standing (behind a seated area) for La Defense Arena

Seats start at the same price, but it's €500+ for that front section on the pitch
thank you :)
Can't make the Pink concert tomorrow night. Was traveling from Dublin and now stuck with a night in The Marlin, Just in case there is someone traveling to Dublin tomorrow night - they will not let me change dates or cancel, but will allow a name change! Just on the off chance someone is heading to Dublin/Pink and needs a hotel room. €267 for a double B&B is booked!
What about sound in that section can vary from spot to spot in that place
Sound was perfect. Really loud too. But that could've been Clapton turning it up to 11
Nice...
€31, on Ticketmaster now
Califone, Grand Social, Saturday 16th November: https://www.foggynotions.ie/concerts/concert/califone-the-grand-social-dublin-2024
Haven't heard mention of them in years. A few folks here would enjoy them. I'll tip along if it doesn't clash with something else.
Thanks took a chance and booked a seat in flat Row D Fingers crossed I won't regret it.
Managed to grab one of the 80 quid standing tickets to the first night of this, no idea if I can logistically make it work but better to have the ticket than not.
Anyone want a ticket for Dylan Gossett in Vicar Street tonight?
Take That only played for an hour and fifteen minutes in Cork last night, Dublin will likely be similar.
Thats really poor form charging 97 and 107 euro for 75 minutes when they were doing 2 hours on the indoor leg.
