I've no idea what Sinn Fein has to do with FG and Green changing leadership and the suggestion of a GE, but here we are. Enjoy.
Yes.
They do seem to get a lot of media coverage for such a bonkers party.
Yeah but it's PBP. They'll hardly have any meaingful say in any program for government anytime soon. They are an irrelevance.
It is PBP policy on increase CT.

100% agree. It's pure thuggery. Was replying to protesters outside Harris house.
Credit where credit is due.
I doubt PBP or SF will touch the corporation tax rate. I'll be the first to condemn them if they try.
Glad to hear this being cracked down on scumbags shouldn't be allowed to do this at someones home address.
Never had you down as a closet FF supporter.
Sean Lemass, Albert Reynolds and Charlie McCreevy are owed a huge amount of credit for creating the conditions necessary for the multinationals to prosper in Ireland.
The most important thing to be wary of are parties that are promising to tear down that framework such as PBP and SF.
On the one hand, because Sinn Fein got hammered in the local elections, they don't matter because the two are separate, but because the Greens got hammered in the local elections, they are finished.
There can be variations between elections held at the same time - note the small variations between the local and European elections held at the same time. However, if you consider a continuum - Local to National to European - you are unlikely to see a widely different outcome if a national election was held tomorrow. As a measure then of support for parties in a national general election, an average of the two recent elections is about as accurate as you can get.
No spinning will change that.
5 more years!!
Good for you, and?
I'm financially thriving under FFG.
Don't forget it's Pride month.
Good for you!! let me know how you get on with getting you income "bemack"
I'm a for getting my income bemack that's being commandeered by Revenue.
Our corporate tax rate was reduced by the government
So the original point you made, was wrong. Thank you
Our corporate tax rate was reduced to 12.5% in the late 1990s by Charlie McCreevy. We became a tax haven with all sorts of attractive accounting mechanisms.
What policy have FFG implemented since 2020 to attract FDI pray tell? Was it the housing crisis or the failing health system?
So the government had no influence in the US MNC's coming to Ireland? shows a total lack of awareness of what is going on in the World with that comment if you think they just magically arrived in Ireland
Oh the claimed "giveaway budget" line has come out again
Yes it is terrible for the government to award all the tax payers who work day and night some sort of reward
Meanwhile taking a cut of the ta to put away in the rainy day fund
What is the problem you have with tax payers and families getting some additional money in their back pocket? maybe you can explain
I think the credit for all that should go to the US multinationals that have been here and growing for a long time. Our tax system and hard working Irish people made this happen. FFG do their level best to waste the windfall. Criminal waste. It won't last forever. And we have a very big national debt. At some point people need to say stop to cronyism, corruption and waste.
I've never been better off. I've never paid less income tax. 5 more years!
Steady? I'd much prefer another 5 years of FFG if they changed course.
Steady as she goes until the giveaway budget and then another 5 years of FFG please.
I've discussed the LE's at length, so that's a lie.
Can you not just discuss the points without playing the brat?
This is about two out of three coalition parties having new leaders.
Micheál Martin has appointed Minister of State Jack Chambers as the new deputy leader of Fianna Fáil
After the young vote?
You have, for days now, it's actually funny to watch now 😂
Very few want the Greens. Aontu are catching them.
Read what you see not what you create.
Nobody glossed over the LE's. The question was with the two new leaders should they call a GE?
Someone else raised the LE's, which I addressed.
Some of the public want the Greens, other's don't. That's how it work.
The public had their say in the local election which you are trying to gloss over now, seems a public decision unless it goes in the right direction is not the public
Trying to degrade what a councillor does as "who fixed the pothole" is typical of some people.
Also trying to say that a councillor is not part of an overall strategy of a political party is total nonsense. Not to be unexpected but funny to watch
I can't see him quitting unless he's an EU job lined up already.
