He's listed as being unavailable due to a hamstring injury in the press release. Seems to have tweaked it in that Bulls game
I imagine we won't see Sam capped all the same, especially with JGP not there. So 6-2 with Frawley covering (which I am not a fan of but anyway).
35 travelling
alos delighted for Stockers
Was JGP injured in the last game or just rested was it mentioned?
Delighted for Izzy, Orbourne, two prendergast and Timony
Holy ****, no JGP. That's our goose a bit cooked
No JGP. Time for somebody to stake a claim!
No Loughman either. Must be backing O'Toole as an ambi-prop. Shame as Loughman has had a very good season.
….
Don't think POM should still be captain. That being said, I'm deeply unenthused by the leadership of all the alternatives. Prendergast travelling and no Byrne brother.
No Coombes 😡 and POM should be at home along with a few more
5 MINUTES TILL THE SH!T HITS THE FAN !!!!!!!!!
????????????
there are 4 debutants in that 23, and 4 more with less than 10 caps between them, so 8 players with 3 or less caps.
theyre hardly going to run out the u20s
Very little change among the boks. I thought there might be a couple of new faces.
Boks playing this weekend

Irish Squad being announced today, they're going a day earlier than previously announced
Never in doubt!
The headline says Ringrose is a doubt, but the article itself says he's expected to travel.
Conans kid will get selected for Ireland, before Coombes.
Osborne and maybe Timoney the players likely next up.
Both have kids due shortly.
Conan out of tour for personal reasons and Ringrose a doubt
Balacoune is miles down the list of right wings whereas Stockdale could well be second choice at left wing
Balouocone based on what? he has been poor this season and the cry is normally to reward the players in form which he is not, unless he massively changed since I seen him
Stockdale seemed to have a better finish to season than anyone else in Ulster and might be worth a looka t
32 in 2016 for 3 Test Matches. 14/18

26 in 2004 for 2 Test Matches. 12/14 (7 man bench)

I love the tours to SA.
I'd like if Ireland won but honestly I'd prefer a good deal of experimentation.
Only problem is Ireland don't have anybody new outside of Osborne ready for this tour.
e.g. Prendergast. Would be great to see him fast tracked but wouldn't want him to play this SA side.
Izuchukwu injured? Would like to see Baloucone back in the squad.
Adam Byrne, Jamie Osborne (let's see about his brother Andrew).
It's good for as many as players as possible to train with the 1st team and experience the tour.
If you want to run out a training game, you need at least 30 players.
Id expect 32-34 players to go
Sunday Times says it’ll be Wednesday, presumably once the injury reports from the weekend are in.
Farrell definitely sees value in bringing guys just to have them in camp and get a closer look at them so I’d expect a number bigger than 30.
I think I saw Wednesday somewhere. 30 seems like it would be more than enough.
