I am not sure if this is a bird or an animal or insect? Can anyone identify it please?
To add some context, I found this on the sitting room floor yesterday evening. I have no idea how it got there. (I dont have any pets) Length wise it is about 60mm (Or about 3 Euro Coins)
Could it be a half chewed cockchafer beetle aka a Maybug
Mummified half eaten house mouse is my guess judging by what I assume are its head, 2 legs and a possible tail. If you have no pets and this thing just appeared randomly I would recommend getting some traps.
what looks at first like a tail, i think is a foot. my first thought was a nestling; can you see if it has teeth?
Cant see any teeth. We have a house martin nest on the gable end of the house. I possibly brought it in my shoe?
It's a dead chick. Head, legs and wings visible
