Flights tonight cancelled back from EMA, after the Leicester game, have booked in for tomorrow instead. Anyone any experience going after Ryanair for hotel costs? I know weather falls under the extraordinary circumstances outside their control, so I assume we're all boned?
You’re not owed compensation but they’re still obliged to pay for a hotel and reasonable expenses. Just keep at it, they have no choice no matter how much they prevaricate and complain.
posted from my hotel at Heathrow airport as my Swiss flight was cancelled…
And if we've already newly booked and checked in to a hotel, can you get it back from them after the event?
We weren't at the airport when we got the cancellation notification so couldn't go to a desk.
I'm not too bothered either way as it's a cheap hotel on a Sunday night, but I'd still like to stick it to them if we can.
As long as its reasonable (not like a 5*) then yeah but can't guarantee they won't fight you/ignore you.
Friends of mine booked their own new flights on lufthansa via frankfurt when easyjet were being useless (not storm related so other flights were taking off) and eventually got refunded. Just requires some persistence. Keep all receipts etc
Why did Venjur delete their account?
And why does Boards auto correct his username?
test
Yeah that's bizarre
Oh jesus...
After the debacle of the site rebuild, I can only imagine these features will attempt to perform a grammar check, only to send a swarm of rabid kamikaze drones at my house...

Is plex like a legit dodgy stick?
It's an application that can run on a TV stick in client mode and connects to a Plex server which can be local or remote.
I ended up getting a fire stick on sale, setting the plex server up on my PC and accessing it though the Tv via th stick. Works great.
Thanks, the subscription is v cheap compared to other platforms
Plex is a subscription? Never knew that. So you connect to someone else's server?
You can connect to someone's server for free if they share the link. The paid sub offers some advantages but nothing I'd personally be interested in.
It's not like you get access to an entire streaming catalogue like Netflix.
I must copy all my DVDs and Blue Rays to my server.
Has anyone recommendations for avoiding data roaming in Switzerland, I forgot they're not part of the EU Roaming agreement
The Gomoworld App doesn't work on my phone 🤔
Are you sure they're not included in your package. They are not part of the EU roaming agreement, but I think a lot of operators include them anyway.
Some kind of esim I guess (have used Ubigi in the past successfully). I never use them, though I think public wifi spots are moderately prevalent if that helps.
Thanks, I'm with eir, from what I can see, they exclude Switzerland.
I'll give the public WiFi a go and see how that goes as I'm only the odd day trip there from my base in Northern Italy
Just make sure your phone doesn't connect to the Swiss network from Italy.
4x400m gold medallists in the European Championships.
Incredible.
The two women had incredible legs.
Of course, they all had incredible legs.
So should we start speculating now about what the rugby landscape will look like when President La Pen torches the French economy in a few years?
Well she never really cared about Europe so most of the Top14 clubs will be with her.
Different shaped ball, but a national treasure…

Absolutely. He could use words and phrases sound like finely tuned musical instruments.
Himself and Micheal O’Hehir and to a certain degree Michael Corcoran had/have the ability to inform you on radio commentary about where in the field the action is taking place. MO'M really had a way with words and was as much an entertainer as a commentator.
He's up there with Vin Scully and Henry Blofeld, i.e., the masters of "bringing you there" through nothing but their words. An icon we were blessed to enjoy for as long as we did. RIP.
" I saw Sligo people at Mass in Gardiner Street this morning and the omens seemed to be good for them. The priest was wearing the same colours as the Sligo jersey. Forty yards out on the Hogan Stand side of the field, Ciarán Whelan goes on a rampage, it’s a goal for Dublin. So much for religion." Rip Micheal Muircheartaigh
I assume they'll lose, and I won't comment on their fandom in general, but I wouldn't mind england winning on Sunday. The players mostly seem like quite nice chaps.
