Hi guys. Anyone have any hassle using the €5 off the dog food. I had a lot more than €5 worth at the till and coupon was active I just went to the store to get it and the voucher wouldnt work. The staff had no idea about it tried to rescan my Lidl plus app and nothing. Had to walk out empty handed in the end.
Some people on the faceybooke woz sayin some orlando isn't counting, but the codes match, get on to whatsapp and nothing after a week because they "didn't know how" to fix it.
Also, 3 pastry's in a row for me, the wheel is very random, yellow/gold again.

They do it in Dunnes towards spend and save vouchers so I'm not surprised :(
Are they doing it the other way round when you buy and pay a deposit? If so it's fair enough.
Yes, in that spending the deposit voucher is just treated like any other cash, so doesn't bring you under the qualifying limit.
That doesn't sound right.
Am I not right in saying that the return deposit is not a voucher as such, it is a cash equivalent. And should be treated as you are giving the cashier coins to pay towards the shop.
I was under the impression you can bring the deposit return receipt and get cash for it without buying anything. Is this correct?
That's correct. But when you use it for payment for shopping, if it brings the remaining balance to be paid below €10, then no scratchie in my experience.
Also no scratchie if shopping minus deposit payments is less than €10 so, unlike Dunnes, they're screwing us both ways.
