Just found the above chart backing up what I have been saying for years.
Global warming is a wholly natural event, if humanity disappeared tonight, global warming would still happen.
Because 10s of billions of hectares of bare ground is burning up the planet!!
No you didn't, you linked to content that wasn't peer reviewed. I did link to lots of studies that highlighted their claims were bs though.
Get over this peer reviewed nonsense. I actually looked into that stuff, and so did Alan Savoury. The people that all failed in holistic management all failed because they dropped the planning process or didn’t have enough animals to make the desired impact.
You should start selling magic healing crystals and homeopathy next. 😊
Whatever your into 80s
Peak Green ridiculousness has topped out on this thread when Roosterman & Shoog thinks a nuclear war killing off people is better for the environment than…
Managing livestock & wildlife in a regenerative environmentally sound system.
This is why you got banned from this thread before for spamming it with your unsubstantiated claims.
Not going to allow you a way in on this again, but suffice it to say a natural dry desert cannot be greened by regenerative agriculture. Plants simply cannot grow when there is insufficient rainfall. Most global deserts are natural habitats and we should not be wasting money and effort in turning them into something they cannot be.
If you start spamming this thread again it will be reported as spam.
iv never been banned from this thread. See how touchy yee get when someone challenges yee. The overwhelming Evidence is there, it can be done & is being done & should be done on a global scale. It just dont fit the belief & narrative that you greenies have been thought bought into.
Id personally rather what I’m suggesting than any suggestions yee have come up with. Nuclear war for god sake!!
Who is advocating nuclear war ? Not me.
I pointed out why limited nuclear accidents have had positive impacts on nature - but that a full on nuclear strike would be devastating for all life which would take millions of years to recover from.
How would your green the Sahara desert ? Be specific. How about the Antarctic desert ?
Is that “overwhelming evidence” the non-peer reviewed stuff the oil companies pay for?
Talking about nukes and greening the Sahara...
https://www.iflscience.com/the-bizarre-plan-to-use-nuclear-bombs-to-create-an-inland-sea-in-the-sahara-68380
Oil money is in EVERYTHING. How are windmills, solar panels, heat pumps made? All dependant on oil to make or work.
Have a look on the Savory institute to find out. And you don’t start with the Sahara, start with Texas or New Mexico before they turn into another Sahara in a couple decade’s.
Might come as a surprise to you but cow **** is good for soil.
..
Getting Saucy Shoog? No need to throw the toys out the cot mate. I did answer it, check the Savory institute to find out. Not my problem you don’t like the answer.
Your ignorant of what you actual say. Here's an actual clue for you - Savory says his system is for degraded agricultural land - he never claimed it was applicable to natural desert such as the Sahara.
Every time you make a statement you show your ignorance even of the things you claim to understand.
Your claims that you can green the deserts with the savory method is bullshit and even savory knows that.
Thought this might be handy, though it's focused on antivaxx, it applies to some of the discussion here as well:
https://www.skepticalraptor.com/skepticalraptorblog.php/pseudoscience-is-easy-to-identify-if-you-examine-their-claims/
works both ways doesn’t it depending what side of the coin you’re on.
Ok, so please explain how in The Africa Centre for Holistic Management in Zimbabwae, there land is in stunning condition using Animals as tools to regenerate the environment
Compared to their neighbouring land’s & national parks that biodiversity is falling off a cliff. The only difference is the management. you can even see the difference’s yourself on Google maps satellite version. Land under holistic management is greener, more trees more grass more water. Land on the opposite of the fence line is all brown and desert
I asked you a specific question about two deserts which you claim Savory can turn green. You failed to respond in a meaningful way. End of discussion since you clearly have not a bulls notion of what you are talking about.
The Irish Times resident climate alarmist published some news management on behalf of the Green party (other parties have been at news management in recent weeks) in advance of the election, in the original Irish Times article we see Eamon Ryans picture (too obvious), later this is changed to snow in the Phoenix park. They rehashed the auld "Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation" bogeyman. The Gulf stream can never be shut off, that is driven by Earth rotation and wind currents. The source for alarmist nonsense is computer modelling fiction generated by researchers from the Potsdam Institute for Climate alarmist (sic) in Germany concerning the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC). The reason we tend not to outright freeze compared to equivalent latitudes in Canada is more a complex interaction between the surface ocean, the Gulf stream, massive upper atmospheric currents (i.e. Jet stream) and differences in pressure on either side of the Atlantic. Those high pressures in Winter that sit over Scandinavia for many weeks tend to cause us the most grief. (Winters: 1928/29, 1946/47, 1962/63, 2009,2010) or the beast from the east in February/March 2018.
Read this, when you next see one of the regular alarmists in Irish media blather on about AMOC.
Sir,Your News story “Gulf Stream probed for early warnings of system failure” (Nature 427, 769; 2004) discusses what the climate in the south of England would be like “without the Gulf Stream”. Sadly, this phrase has been seen far too often, usually in newspapers concerned with the unlikely possibility of a new ice age in Britain triggered by the loss of the Gulf Stream.European readers should be reassured that the Gulf Stream’s existence is a consequence of the large-scale wind system over the North Atlantic Ocean, and of the nature of fluid motion on a rotating planet. The only way to produce an ocean circulation without a Gulf Stream is either to turn off the wind system, or to stop the Earth’s rotation, or both. Real questions exist about conceivable changes in the ocean circulation and its climate consequences. However, such discussions are not helped by hyperbole and alarmism. The occurrence of a climate state without the Gulf Stream any time soon — within tens of millions of years — has a probability of little more than zero.Carl WunschEarth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences,Massachusetts Institute of Technology,

Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences,
Massachusetts Institute of Technology,
The Savory institute can't scientifically prove anything they're claiming and in fact, studies have found their numbers to be outright lies. You're effectively just promoting the homeopathic solution that does feck all. You've been told this so many times before and your reaction is "sure we should do it regardless"… Pretty braindead solution tbh.
AMOC is slowing down, the question is, how fast and whether additional glacial melt due to global warming will impact it. It's unknown. Might take 100 years. By then, other impacts of global warming will have hit.
Here's a bit of science for you:
https://www.whoi.edu/oceanus/feature/will-the-gulf-stream-really-shut-down/#:~:text=%E2%80%9CThe%20Gulf%20Stream%20plays%20a,vertically%20throughout%20the%20Atlantic%20Ocean.
The alarmists problem is that a moored buoy array called RAPID was deployed across the entire North Atlantic at 26N latitude in 2004 precisely to measure this AMOC climate possibility. It has as yet detected NO weakening. If you read your own "science" link, they are telling you the same, no chance that AMOC will disappear. Whenever you see mention of AMOC in the media, always ask yourself how much money these people are looking for us to cough up? Funny how they need to extract money from our labour today, because of their imaginary problems in 100 years time. How do they know? They don't, they use the digital equivalent of Mystic Megs crystal ball i.e. computer simulations that have no demonstrated skill predicting the future.
The above screenshot is disinformation taken from an RTE program broadcast in 2019 pushing climate alarmism. It is a computer generated image fully intended to deceive you. Dublin bus drivers are intelligent at navigating the roads, there are none dumb enough to drive into a raging flood like that, computer simulations are not limited and can conjure up any scenario the user desires.
For Fraudsters the use of Fear, Alarm and Urgency are vital. Climate Alarmists are no different.
aye good observation
When it comes to climate, media pushes any nonsense they want, believers will uncritically accept it. Here is the latest example from the "paper of record". Not satisfied with merely jumping the shark, they're doing triple backflips while juggling flaming bowling pins. https://www.irishtimes.com/environment/climate-crisis/2024/06/01/imagine-it-being-impossible-to-grow-potatoes-and-carrots-in-ireland-because-of-climate-change-and-this-would-just-be-the-start/
If you really read that link you would see that the AMOC has been influenced by freshwater melt in the past and this can happen again. The impact would be a disruption to the deep water cycle which drives the AMOC - with significant impacts on north Atlantic climate and beyond.
Not remotely what you imply from reading exactly the same article as I did. Funny that.
The best example of such an event is the breaking of the ice dam at mouth of the great lakes at the end of the last ice age which launched a massive pulse of fresh water into the north Atlantic and returned us to ice age conditions for about a thousand years.
https://www.livescience.com/31810-big-freeze-flood.html
This is a similar scale event to the current Greenland thaw we are experiencing.
Why do you think it’s hard to prove that. Science is observation, deduction, thinking.
To get the exact same results you need to have the exact same conditions. Very easy to do on complicated systems. But when applied to complex situations it’s Virtually impossible because your never ever going to have the exact same soil, weather, rain, wind, sunshine etc in the exact same time as they happen in the previous year
And like i said before, if the science & peer review process is working, then we should see Arizona, Australia, the middle east all turning to lush green. But They arent, what they resemble now is what The Sahara was like before it became total desert. Sorry to break it to yee Greeny vegans, but we need animals on the land to restore biodiversity.
Study the impacts on a single ranch system to show the impact of the interventions. Show us the study that does this with quantitive analysis of accumulated soil carbon.
You can't because such a study has never been carried out by the Savory Institute. Such a relatively simple study would go a very long way to supporting your claims - but it would break the magic woo factor.
