More talk of a region merger. Feels like every week. Hard to see them being competitive this season which is a shame.
HOw does Archer get away wih his belly flops in scrums
THats not a penalty. Casey played it off his own man ffs
Try of the year, easily. That's astonishing
What a try, brilliant from Ulster
Trading tries here. Entertaining stuff for the neutrals
I wonder what Munster's win/loss record is with Frank reffing compared to the other refs in the league. I'm pretty sure their only wins against Leinster in recent seasons have come with Frank.
Frank is stealing a living. How is he not an embarrassment to the IRFU.
give over about the ref lads, ffs, it's embarrassing
You'd swear Frank never gave a penalty against Munster.
A great game of rugby on, but all some posters are interested in is giving out about the ref.
Your just stealing oxygen!
Should be a yellow would have been a 2 v 1
Absolutely never in doubt. Why did I even bother watching this.
You're*
Nash lucky enough to get away without a yellow there
suck it up!
Luck had nothing to do with it.
Mod: Threadbanned for 2 weeks. Do not bring this nonsense into any other thread.
Great comeback - strong fight from Ulster. That's a game where under McFarland they would've capitulated after Munster went ahead.
Poor enough kick from Burns off the penalty - left them with a lot of work to do.
I don't want to shatter your illusions but it can be both a great game and a shambolic performance from a referee who bottled two cards.
Yep, just logic. Murray clearly covering across, so penalty only.
Deliberate knock on. Yellow card. In any other game with any other ref.
Only if it prevents a line break, which as correctly adjudged here, wasn't the case since Murray (I think) was covering across.
The Snyman incident was a poor call, but you'd swear Ulster were rode doggy style by the refereeing.
It was two on one if that pass went to hand and he had no reasonable chance of intercepting the pass. Stone cold yellow card.
I can understand when you make up your own rules then you get very annoyed at refs.
Huh? You ok? The only one making up rules today is old Frank. But I can see why Munster fans defend him so have at it
In any event, what a final weekend of the URC. Barely any dead rubbers, some great games and the table moved like crazy throughout the last two days.
What's with the, "there was cover there". So what, he deliberately knocked it on and killed an attack. Ridiculous that it wasn't a card.
Anyway getting back to the URC. How good a day was that for the league?
Do we know the QFs now?
Pretty much how you'd want a final day-ish to go. It was great. Loads of come-from-behind wins are great for the neutral too.
As they say on Twitter.
URC = Best League
