No need for that, local knowledge beats lmgtfy, especially when it's possible somebody has a copy or knowledge of one.

In the Galway library
Bell Book and Candle might be another good place to look. They have those kinds of books in there
Looking to buy some lighter dumbbells, a tin of beans weight. I've googled the usual suspects and they are expensive or the wrong size. I want to buy from a bricks and mortar shop if possible, Does anyone know where I could find these?

Where is the best place in Galway city to buy a second hand phone?
Personally despite one bad but eventually rectified incident I find Fonez in corbett court/eyre square centre reliable, small premium on the fact that I believe they have only unlocked phones.. Good aftercare and not as stringent (read unhelpful) as others

Can you still buy train tickets in-station at Ceannt? or has it all shifted online?
there are ticket machine at the old entrance , but there is a temorary entrance due to construction, so not sure if the machine moved or accessable during the construction.
Generally much cheaper to buy online if that's an option

Okay, if I'm catching a train and I'm standing in Eyre Square looking at The Great Southern or whatever that hotel is called. Do I go around the right where the car park is or the left where the bus station is?
The left.
Are the city carparks(Island Hse, Newtownsmith, Garda station(presentation road)) still free after 6.30pm?
