That's a nice house but I do not like the public pier right beside the house very busy on hot days and even other times of the year. Wouldn't bother me if it was in a town or city but if I was buying a house in the country side I would want total peace and quiet. Pointless otherwise.
I know how much some people love a conversion - old school house converted into a home on the edge of Lough Allen

I posted this quite a while ago, possibly some time last year so it's been on the market for a while. The talk here at the time was that potentially there was no pp to have a second home on the grounds but all speculation of course! I must see if it was the same price, I remember thinking it was a bargain for 2 homes on the same plot. Handy if you have regular guests or a grown up child/children who might use the second unit.
Edited to add: it was in January and the price was the same, €240k
yoyou can see where the varnish has come off underneath and the rot is in the grooves of the drain and under the taps.
Had a wooden worktop in an apartment years ago was a nightmare to keep it looking right.
not a big deal to switch the worktop but why include that picture
No, it's definitely rotten wood. It looks like splashes were never dried and wet things were left on the draining board part.
pretty sure that’s some type of marble no?
I was looking at the converted church, I can see it now. 😳
that's the one… strange to include it
This is 27/33 as I am seeing them
And right enough its a rotting worktop! I was on the wrong pic in my answer above.
I don't see a worktop?
Oh my dear! I cannot believe…that's not a rotting wooden worktop, its a distressed console table! Very smart! Quite the thing!
(Though getting a little passe to be honest)
Edit - sorry this was the wrong pic,
why would you include picture 27 of a rotting wooden worktop?
The church improved as it went along, not keen on some of the decor but an interesting house. I could not live in it though, every time there was a small bit of a gale I would be waiting for the bell tower to come through the roof.
Not sure how they make that a B3 but its very nice, I really like the style and everything about it.
That's lovely, albeit with some bland decorating. The dressing room of the main bedroom is huge, they really should have included an ensuite.
Another converted church. Looks fab with the side extension
Actually, I prefer this.
Was this featured before?
I love it, I just need to find 8 mil and then figure out how I could afford to maintain it.
The graveyard in the garden is a handy spot to hide the bodies of the visitors who tumble and kill themselves in the fall from your death trap staircase.
But given the event of a zombie apocalypse - its a no from me.
On both the staircase and the graveyard.
Posted yesterday.
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
But…… a bottomless pit of money wouldn’t be enough to get through it.
This one is probably better value! https://www.irishexaminer.com/property/commercial/arid-41405648.html
Holy moly!!
Wow way nicer inside than I was expecting.
You can see a landing at the top, again with no railing, and can tell by the bedrooms that there's kids in the house. Even if it leads to a dead space kids will go up and down at every opportunity.
Be a short trip to the graveyard though.
Its strange, I wonder if that stair doesnt actually lead to any space. Clearly a balustrade is needed on the high level and along the stair.
https://www.daft.ie/for-sale/detached-house-kilfree-gurteen-co-sligo/5662253 - Two for one. You could perhaps live in the main house and rent out the other.
Meh, it's very bland.
This stairs is a death trap unless I'm just not seeing the handrail.
And open access to the graveyard - right up to the front of the house, anyone could be prowling around outside and feck all you can do about it.
One of the nicest conversions I've ever seen. Great BER rating too.
The porcelain dolls are weird!
a bit ambitious on the price..even with its 8 bedrooms

It would be better to knock it and start from scratch.
