That suits me down to the ground. I can quit my job and become a farmer. One problem with this plan though. I can't afford it so if anybody reading this wants to lend me a small 12 mil that I'm good for as I will pay you back in the next life.
I dont think upstairs is too bad. I would be more concerned about the kitchen. It looks like someone thought a DIY kitchen penninsula would be a great addition - they were wrong😂
Checked the folio and it's all included so guessing they are selling up not having got planning permission. Looked at the planning app and seems like there was alot of objections.
Oh that is beautiful, love a good bungalow and with those views. , amazing!!
wow!!!! None of that screams abbyside dungarven to me!!

A small bank heist should cover it 😳 What a beautiful home it must have been in the past
It's incredible isn't it? Imagine the balls and events held there in the past.
Real reminder that entropy gets us all in the end 😅
It looks like when Robin Hood came back to Locksley Castle after the Crusades.
That would be an amazing wedding venue if restored to its former glory.
Just add a resident ghost or 2.
who would live in a school like this : https://www.campbells.ie/colaiste-na-rossan-annagry-donegal/949406
Own your own stage ?
Re-inact lunchtimes in the yard ?
No idea how you would convert it residential
Maybe open a hostel ?
Decent enough size etc but irredeemably ugly front, cost a lot to convert I reckon.
That will probably end up as accommodation for refugees..
yea its nasty , imagine the young minds facing that every morning , not inspiring !!!
dont give anyone ideas now
It would be better to knock it and start from scratch.
a bit ambitious on the price..even with its 8 bedrooms

One of the nicest conversions I've ever seen. Great BER rating too.
The porcelain dolls are weird!
Meh, it's very bland.
This stairs is a death trap unless I'm just not seeing the handrail.
And open access to the graveyard - right up to the front of the house, anyone could be prowling around outside and feck all you can do about it.
https://www.daft.ie/for-sale/detached-house-kilfree-gurteen-co-sligo/5662253 - Two for one. You could perhaps live in the main house and rent out the other.
Its strange, I wonder if that stair doesnt actually lead to any space. Clearly a balustrade is needed on the high level and along the stair.
You can see a landing at the top, again with no railing, and can tell by the bedrooms that there's kids in the house. Even if it leads to a dead space kids will go up and down at every opportunity.
Be a short trip to the graveyard though.
Wow way nicer inside than I was expecting.
Holy moly!!
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
But…… a bottomless pit of money wouldn’t be enough to get through it.
This one is probably better value! https://www.irishexaminer.com/property/commercial/arid-41405648.html
Posted yesterday.
The graveyard in the garden is a handy spot to hide the bodies of the visitors who tumble and kill themselves in the fall from your death trap staircase.
But given the event of a zombie apocalypse - its a no from me.
On both the staircase and the graveyard.

I love it, I just need to find 8 mil and then figure out how I could afford to maintain it.
Actually, I prefer this.
Another converted church. Looks fab with the side extension
