Wife picked up her Model Y today - minor scratch on rear bumper (black trim at bottom) logged with ranger. Whoever does their numberplates needs to pay more attention…

The basic white M3,with black interior, is their most popular configuration. You should be matched with a car pretty soon and could be on the road in a matter of weeks.
This is the worst part. Ordering and waiting. Once you get it, you’ll forget about all the nuisance ordering process etc
If Anything, the service section is miles ahead of the sales section and if you need anything (hopefully you don’t) it’s a seamless process through the app message system.
The white m3 is the best value car on the market imho
Hopefully it will cost you a lot less, considering depreciation should be small enough. But who knows what the future will bring. Car prices could just as easily go up again in price, especially if levies are increased on Chinese cars which is a very real possibility.
Enjoy the new car, hope arrives fairly quickly. The Model 3 is great value atm, considering the performance, efficiency and standard equipment. A very easy car to live with, the software updates, app etc are excellent.

Nobody knows for certain. Not even Tesla.
@Ivor_Guddon Not sure of MY. I Ordered M3 on April 22nd. The app says May - June from the day i ordered.

I ordered Model Y Feb 5th and no sign. At the end of every month they push the delivery date out further
Got 18% charge when i picked up my MY. Happy that it had stalks which was a surprise.
All MY’s have stalks as the it’s still the older interior. No refresh due to 2025 seemly.
I order mine early March. Also showing estimated delivery for May-June. Talked to Tesla regarding our trade in last week and when I asked them if they had a better estimate for the new vehicle’s delivery they told me July was probably more likely.
That's them - ordered from Aliexpress but shipped from France. €92 - matt black Tesla middle covers too.
Our new number plate is the same and it's really annoying me - anyone know of third party plates or where to source?
Mine's been May-June since I ordered 3 weeks ago.
@pah Same with my order. Looks like a glich. It showed may - jun from the day i ordered, but changed to april -may today.

Briefly, I placed my order on 2nd Dec for Model 3 RWD.
Stealth grey, 19 in. nova wheels.
Delivery went from end of Feb to 4th/19th of June as it stands now. I sold my wife's car privately in Jan as I expected the car a few weeks later.
I got an email for full payment just before the price drop but luckily I held out and paid the new price a few weeks ago so the car is paid in full. I have the VIN Number a while now.
I was just browsing the Tesla site and low and behold, there is the exact model I ordered available for collection.
WTF is going on?
Collection day today! Very happy with it indeed.
To say the last few weeks and months were a saga would be an understatement but happy to finally be driving.
My word is it a beast though! Never been in a car before that made me light-headed when you floor it. Can’t see this set of tyres lasting too long 😂
Anyone got ideas for Model 3 back seat covers for kids. Can imagine the children ruining the seats. possibly Temu…..
That car you saw in Inventory was probably cancelled by someone else. As far as I know Tesla don't bother trying to match with someone with an existing order, but put it in Inventory with the hope of making an additional sale to an 'impulse' buyer. I think.
Definitely worth getting onto Tesla to see if they can allocate that car to you. Especially if you are fully paid up and your wife has no car.
Use the webchat and try to get them to match that car to your order.

Get into chat and ask them to move your order to that car. Is it available for collection?
Just leave them as is but keep a set of baby wipes in the car for immediate mop up of any spills.
Also while it’s new and fresh give them a big clean and coat them with some Gtechniq L1 or another branded leather sealer.
