Fair enough but why have him on at all - 10 minutes of listing out villa players. 5 mins of basketball talk of which most of what was about a 30 for 30 documentary that was released 10 years ago.
Completely different point to you criticizing him earlier.
It was a pointless segment but that reflects on SCs, not US Murph.
Thanks for that, Ol' Donie, I got it through Patreon as it wasn't updating on the app I use.
Jaysis Fanning is an awful misery guts, that was one of the most entertaining Prems I can remember up and down the table. Lad might be in the wrong line of work.
Knicks lost the deciding game by 21 points, making that chat redundant.
Fcuk me, Shane Horgan is some dose, his new buzzword phrase "transferring the pressure" irritated me way more than it should have.
I don’t understand how Horgan thinks Leinster have a better chance this week than they did against La Rochelle last year. Toulouse are a considerably better side.
He and Thornley didn’t even mention the total liability that is Ross Byrne at out half
yes, Man City winning their 4th league in a row and the 3 promoted teams gettkng relegated was fun and fascinating.
Did you miss the year Leicster won the league or something?
What, La Rochelle play to Leinster's weaknesses better than Toulouse do and the less pressure on a London final than home one absolutely has them in a better position this year to win even before we get to the addition of Nienaber.
He's a corporate HR middle manager.
Shaggy is a lawyer, if you’re going to try to do a half-assed hit job you may as well get your facts right.
"hit job" lol
But he has an amazing ability to make everything sound like a compulsory corporate training session. Pity we're stuck with him
The ongoing dominance of City, Klopp leaving (as a neutral) and the awfulness of Burnley, Luton and Sheff Utd made this season quite depressing.
Utd and Villa were the most exciting parts really and for all of Arsenal's efforts it never really felt like they'd finish ahead of City
Because Leinster have repeatedly beaten Toulouse but lost to La Rochelle in recent years?
While I don't have much actual interest in the league of Ireland I do like the increased coverage in it as its a bit of fun and I know the personalities involved. Helps too that Ken and Murph are going to some of the games. Beats rugby and gaelic football coverage anyway :)
Virgin are so cheap they couldn’t bother to bring the studio crew to the match the one time the European game they’re covering is in Dublin
If Waterford don't have some type of disciplinary action it makes a complete mockery of respect the ref. Don't think it helps that Jamie and Malachy were just brushing it off
Kenny joined at a good time. Bit of friction there too makes it interesting. Murph being at that game worked out well
Ken reading through the Uefa guide to Dublin was funny.
Boxty and Colcannon are more west of Ireland foods, surely they'd have recommend spice bags or coddle instead.
The league went to the last day of the season, a decent race for 4th and the addition of points deductions. Not a vintage year, but hardly depressing.
The club with 115 charges against them won the league for the fourth year in a row. The 3 promoted clubs, got relegated and it wasn't particularly close. The gap between 17th and 18th was 6 points but Forest had a 4 point deduction so on performance, the difference was 10 points.
That's all depressing enough, in my opinion. Its been about on par with previous seasons in my opinion. Villa getting 4th was great to watch.
It went to the final day but when Arsenal lost to Villa it felt like the race was over. At no real stage (apart from Son's miss) did it feel like City were in any danger of dropping points. Disappointing that no one in the run in could put up a decent fight against them
Arsenal ran them somewhat close at least. Nothing is really going to change until the 115 charges are dealt with or Pep hits the road. I can see the latter happening quicker, considering the appeal City will lodge if they're found any way guilty & the years that would take to be decided on. Robots winning the league on autopilot has gotten very dull all the same.
Can't see Liverpool, Chelsea or Utd getting anywhere near them next season with new managers bedding in & I've slight worries that Arsenal be a bit bollocksed after the efforts of the last 2 seasons. Villa will be stretched with the CL, much like Newcastle were this season.
Don't forget that the two other clubs who faced far, far fewer charges were both hit with points deductions. (Again, the team with 115 charges won the league by two points.)
When you look at it without the emotion of loving the game, it's actually a shambles of a sporting competition.
yup it’s all made more farcical by likes of sky just not mentioning it and having Micah and the bantz crew pretending it’s all normal. It’s not
Mind you you see the same with the dubs in the football
I see 0 charges against the Dubs in football.
Well there should be in fairness.
Few things more bitter than a non Dublin Liverpool supporter cribbing about unproven charges and Dublin advantages. Looks like spending world-record amounts on players wasn't enough to win more than the one league and they are scratching around for someone to blame aside from Klopp
0 rules broken.
Hurlers have really lit it up over the past decade, oh wait….they benefit from the same funding.
The comparison doesn’t really work
