Multiple threads not updating or showing new posts

Ive just been notified that I was mentioned in a post here.. Is it visible to me?. Is it shyte. I've been through multiple crash and burn stuff here over the years but this is damn close to the straw.

This is true for the Trivial Annoyed thread in AH. Once it moved onto a new page the posts couldn't be seen, but after more posts the last page could be accessed.

Still glitching in the Donald Trump thread.

Last posts are back in the deposit thread but you have to scroll down to get to them. Then it flies back up again and you have to scroll down a second time before it settles. Mobile.

Same story as with the old Russia/Ukraine thread.Posts are showing up in my bookmark folder but not in the thread itself.

Perhaps time to start a new thread,importing the banned posters etc -unless it rights itself overnight?

This issue is going to affect the site for a while yet. I have been making a lot of noise on this as it is being caused by a major error relating to recent php8 update and boards customisations. Trials proved successful for Vanilla on staging but obviously they are causing issues on the live site. It is with Vanilla Dev now and I am pushing for a fix ASAP!

I will update here when I can.

Which makes me wonder if they didn't find this upon upgrading their other clients, or are they using us as guinea pigs?

The issue is with a custom add-on specific to Boards.ie. This add-on is not included in the staging site where Vanilla carried out the testing. When it was launched to the live site this is where we started to see these issues.

That's a call for the local mods of any impacted forum to make, but given there's no ETA for a fix, it's probably the prudent approach in the interim. Worst case they just need to merged afterwards.
