Indeed, entertainment in certain respects is what Tubs has provided, albeit perhaps in a way not intended. And still awaiting 150k payback to the licence fee holder.
And of course, his new career in Virgin Radio which is imminent.

Your desperate defences of Tubridy and pathetic jibes at his successor are "tiresome enough" at this stage too. In light of the latest viewing figures, they are all worn out.

When it is too good to be true, it usually is… people do turn down more money, when it comes when strings, or when they smell a rat.
150,000 in under the counter payments has turned out costing Tubridy a helluva lot more than that. He scammed the license fee, and now scams himself. How much more money has that greed cost him?
And also, Tubridy himself apologised publicly for what he did and he promised to pay it back… which he has not done so.
So Tubridy, a liar and hoist on his own petard. Sympathy levels in the country - negative.

You should probably repeat that to yourself next time you feel the need to vent about Callan, or whoever person in the public eye has the 'temerity' to make Tubridy look bad (which is remarkably easy when you score as many own goals as he does).
Seems more relevant to any of your posts than what I wrote, if that is how you actually feel about the subject.

I never knew you could have someone who was just literally "blank", a blank human being - no personality, no philosophy, no belief and value system, a nothing person, someone who is there and yet nothing behind it all. Creepy, disturbing and yet fascinating.

For those who do not remember there allegations in the past about the journalist Larissa Nolan and the Toyman being in a relationship and that Nolan played a role in the breakdown of the Toymans marriage.
I am sure they are not the same person and it is merely a coincidence.

A grandfather who ran RTE for 6 years, perhaps? And the web of connections that brought through the years
His grandfather didn't run RTE, he was chairman of the RTE Authority, a position he resigned from in 1970, three years before Tubridy was born. He died in 1985 when Tubridy was twelve.
Tubridy's uncle, Niall Andrews, was an RTE producer, resigning in 1977 when Tubridy was four.
