Have the same issue with my Leafs drivers side front wheel. Happens regularly. Sometimes a sharp jab on the brakes dislodges it. Failing that reaching in and jigging the dust shield always does the trick
Thanks, all. Will drop it in to a local mechanic. Maybe it's grit but I have it on both sides.
Was mad with myself last night, clipped a low kerb at about 10km/h, enough to damage about 40% of front left wheel. Sanded and a few coats of touch up paint and not really noticeable any more.
Second time with this car, same wheel previously. So easy to do. Must be almost 100% touched up now..😊
Do you have the paint code by any chance?
looks like you cleaned it up well enough. As a matter of interest does keeping the wheel covers on make much of a difference to the range?
they add between 3-5% to the range of the car.
No code on packs. Bought from Amazon, think they are out of stock atm
Don't know, but they are easier to clean..
Body Vin number for 2020 M3 ?
Upcoming nct, tried the floor under the front of driver seat - also removed the door seals on the driver and passenger doors but no luck - any ideas ? 👍🏻
any use?
Thats it for a Fremont build.
This service manual has all VIN locations for all M3 cars built in Fremont & Shanghai regions.
Thanks @Gumbo & @wassie - got the trim off around the seat belt-
I NCT'd my 2020 Model 3 about 3 weeks ago, and the VIN is in the B pillar under the rubber seal…
I have my new M3 four weeks now.
The lack of indicator stalks simply isn't an issue for me. For the first hour it might have been but not since.
Coming from only having driven manual petrols and diesels, I still occasionally put my hand out for the gear stick or move my left foot for the clutch but even that is getting rarer.
It is a very easy car to drive and the one foot braking is excellent; I use the brake pedal rarely. Just accelerate and steer.
I'm still getting used to it and I simply can't tell you how efficient it is yet as I'm not keeping track but will do.
Somethings are not to my taste rather than annoying. The heating is a little fiddly and the hazard button is in a simply stupid place - if you use it to thank a lorry that has pulled over, it must look like you are waving to them as the button is above the rear view mirror.
But, overall, a very positive experience to date.
Nice little review there- a no-brainer for the money, thanks 👍.
when you say the heating is a little fiddly what do you mean by this.
is it the actual heating function or the annoyance of changing the settings through the screen?
thanks
Tesla Australia cut the price of M3 RWD by €3050, Model Y RWD by €2450. Hopefully we'll see similar cuts here.
It's the annoyance of the design but that's more about me than the system. Some people will love the design.
The heating itself is fine.
Looks like war!💶💶💶
looks like Norway Spain and Iceland are receiving price cuts also so I wouldn’t be surprised to see another drop here this week! I’m currently in the process of selling my car to purchase a model 3 so think I’m going to hold off placing a deposit for the moment.
What cuts are they getting?
looks like around 8% in Norway anyway
It is now 325,000 krona in Norway which translates to just over €28,000.
Not sure if they have built in discounts or government incentives over there though.
If the price drops after you order but before you take delivery then you will avail of the cheaper price. But if price goes up you will be locked into your lower order price.
Yeah I understand that but with the price drops in Australia and all the rumours around price drops in Europe I would be amazed if they actually raised the prices.
Hard to know but Australia were always significantly cheaper for new cars than here. Unfortunately nobody knows what Tesla and others may do in the future
Very true!
As soon as my car sells I’ll just pull the trigger on my order then ignore the prices if I can🤔😂 I still think it’s one of the best value cars on the market right now personally.
I don't think you will be disappointed at a little over 38k. There is no value as good out there presently. And you may possibly even get a further drop..
I am happy at over 49k 2 years ago for a base RWD, but then again I sold my previous ID.3 at a price you could only dream of today.🙂

A price cut combined with 0% HP on the model 3 is the dream.
50,000km pa rules out PCP.
