Anyone know if it's possible to move from 3 to a new provider mid-contract? Take/shoulder the bad debt, etc? Asking for a friend...
They have shafted my friend for extortionate and unfair roaming costs and they're done with them now.
They'd need to get the number unported and re-ported to a new provider I presume?

It's possible, But they'll be hit with a cancellation fee equal to the remainder of the contract (months remaining x monthly charge) they'll then engage a debt collection company if your friend doesn't pay.
Porting Is the process of moving the number, so they just port to a different network

It's everything in for 15€ plus VAT. I was on 30€ so it's a good saving

Hi Andy, it was very straight forward for me. I signed the form in the link above put in code and they rang me a few days later and I got it set up that day.
i filled out the form yesterday morning and got a call back yesterday afternoon process seems straight forward. going to save me about €20 a month so well worth it

Im on a sim only plan , first offer was 25 a month ,then 20 a month , l refused it saying why would l pay 20 when 48.ie have it at 12.99 a month

That was exactly the same as my interaction. Just hold your ground, quote 48.ie prices and they'll come down.
