I don’t think Fontaines could charge a lot more and sell both nights really well, it was about 60 quid including fees for the Dublin standing ticket which is just right for them at the moment imo
To a tour thats supposed to be one night only per city.😁
I had a quick look at wiki to see something about this Wallen chap. Maybe he has a fair amount of American fans who don't mind travelling over here to see him, maybe they do the same for other nearby countries on his tour?

Yep, I was aware that Huey was gone, was thinking of it as a superior FLC tribute band in a smallish venue. Had thought about seeing Stewart Copeland who they clash with but his jazz/Afrobeat covers of the old Police material sounds pretty appalling.
Huey also seems a little unnecessarily bitter about the guys going on the road without him, no?

They sold almost all the stock in presales as usual and left the platinum and dynamic priced stuff for general to sucker the public.
Tempted to pick up a ticket, Cky were the 'Viva La Bam' band and AAF that 'Movies and band that done the Smooth Criminal cover'

The Rock Orchestra 2024 playing two shows on October 14th in Cork Opera House. Tickets went on sale this morning. Picked up a pair already.
At best guess are many of these overseas sales? Or he just have an enormous fanbase in Ireland that is under the radar (music press or mainstream media have next to nothing on him). A whole other world.
doing Hyde park and ovo Glasgow. Glasgow isn’t as busy ticket sales wise as Dublin, bigger capacity though. He is covered in music press a lot, got arrested recently that got coverage. Country music has enormous generational popularity here! Something in the water

Nothing in Hot Press, English music media or the online stuff. Nor in the Irish Times or Independent. It’s a whole underworld of scary stuff. Two mins of listening and I’ve got a rash.
Yet the gigs have sold out in Dublin. Clearly people will travel but you’ve got to assume that most of the Irish attendees will be Dubs.
