Photos of front of house deleted.
Take the video tour.
It's been taken down in the past hour (unsurprisingly it's attracting a lot of attention) , entire front of the house is daubed in Nonce and Paedo graffiti edit - found it archived
Nice house and I would love the big workshop to be tinkering in.
The fire surround is odd, would leave it quite awkward to use the fireplace?
Also, how do you afford a house like that in Sligo. That’s a big ask for there..
Yeap, that is the going rate at th moment. Unreal isn't it.
The ad was taken down, what did I miss?
ETA - I should read the full thread before posting!
I can imagine the conversation in the office.
‘The listing I sent the new junior out to photograph and post is getting phenomenal views boss’
‘Let me have a look too…oh shhhi…’
Handy for toasting marshmallows 😂
But yeah very odd thought process on why it's there.
A few of those rooms would give you motion sickness! 😵
It looks like the laminate flooring has buckled, probably due to damp and too tight fit.
That’s one way of driving the price down and frightening off other bidders!!
The floor is the one where the water has pooled and caused the boards to buckle.
If you can get past the locals nailing each other to fences this is a stunning cottage (nutso price though)

Interesting design,
Its does look lovely - I fear though it could be a bit of style over substance - the bones of the building could be poor as it is old. The pictures are nice but poor for potential buyers - they show photos of features rather than rooms which leaves it hard to judge. Its like a shoot for an interiors magazine rather than to sell a house.
Idyllic setting but It looks like not a great house to live in.
I thought that myself when I saw the photos. Lovely camerawork but you can't hide a BER of E. It would be baltic in the winter.
And the whole 'soft focus' thing is supposed to make it more appealing, whereas its just annoying (the bushmills house).
That is beautiful but Bushmills is honestly, one of the scariest towns I've ever driven through, it was just after the 12th of July so it might have been worse than normal tho.
It says BER of B3 on the listing. I'm finding that hard to align with what I'm seeing.
Its the Bushmills house that is E, the octagonal house is B3.
I like quirky houses but I am a bit suspicious of the fact that only the kitchen is shown indoors on the octagonal house, the grounds are lovely, apart from the ramshackle porch on the back. Neither the postcode nor the map is correct.
Any "American Horror Story" fans here? You'll recognise this house.
The Buckner Mansion, in New Orleans, aka "Miss Robichaux's Academy" from AHS: Coven, is for sale.
Gorgeous. Don’t the product shelves beside the fridge look particularly garish in this beautiful setting?
Yep, surely they could have stretched to a cupboard with a door?
Amazing house though and I loved the few old photos mixed in with the new ones.
Was there a few weeks ago. Nightmare to live in. Tourists outside your house every day looking in. Beautiful part of the city though.
I would not want to live there and its not my style for a home, but its beautiful, its amazing the difference between a genuine, well preserved old house with original furniture and the pastiche attempts usually seen. Agree about the shelves in the kitchen, also the very odd look of the sleek white chairs clustered round the hob island.
Yes, I'd imagine so.
Apparently the people who bought the Murder House from AHS Season 1, (Rosenheim Mansion) in 2015, didn't know it was in the show and ended up suing the realtors over it, for not telling them it was a tourist attraction for AHS fans.

The fridge itself is in an awkward spot as well. It can be an issue in historic homes that weren't designed for a modern kitchen layout, but personally I'd have sacrificed a bit of counter space to put the fridge on the same wall as the oven and gone with some additional cabinetry or a nicer freestanding cupboard with a door on the wall by the doorway to the dining room.

Not the best schoolhouse conversation by a long shot, still needs a lot of work (BER E2). Massively overpriced I would say for what it is and where it is located (it is in the middle of nowhere).
That's been so cheaply put together, it's a shame.
