rang tesla, they said delivery due to Cork 30 of May, and can collect a car 1 of June
okay really depends on who you get on the phone. May 30th is what I was told also but it was estimated. Fingers crossed it will be right
Ordered a preconfigured red M3 RWD this evening. Delivery date and time scheduled for June 10th.
just got delivery date 18 of May, 11:00, ordered 31 of march, MY from inventory
Recently applied for the 0% HP deal on a MY order. Got an email from a codeweavers.net address this morning, asking for ID docs related to the loan application. On the off-chance that this is a sophisticated scam, can anyone else here who's using Tesla HP finance, confirm that's actually the genuine address for Tesla Finance?
Congrats on the delivery date. @arunke1 Is that for Cork delivery?
Codeweavers seem to do finance for a number of brands. They don't mention Tesla, but they seem to be well established in the business.
Finance Ireland do use a codeweavers platform/email address for the paperwork
It should come from financeireland-noreply@codeweavers.net
its Dublin, originally was Cork delivery from inventory, but they changed for me, because I am in Dublin, and they rang me its mistake, delivery now is 27 of May 12:00, hopefully no more changes😂😂
Picked up mine this morning, M3 Highland standard range 👍 I had assumed it would be 100% charged to drive away, how wrong was I 😂
What % charge did it have when you picked it up?
30%
Don't understand why they wouldn't charge up a new vehicle - goodwill and all that?
Good luck with the car- how long were you waiting btw?
Ordered on the 19th of April 👍
The goodwill is free supercharging I think.
fyi I was told that the free supercharging wouldn’t be active on my account for a few days, but after that the next time I used a supercharger I wouldn’t be charged. Well I just used Enfield earlier and got charged €13. Will be ringing support tomorrow
More people and charging infrastructure needed if they were to have them at 80/100% for collection I suppose. It's not like a 'normal' garage that might have 20 new cars parked around their own showrooms. They could have a few hundred at a time out in NDL which is just a big open air yard with portacabins. No charging infrastructure.
Be nice not having to use the network on the drive home though?
Stupid question time- How does the free charging thing work anyway?
The credit shows up on your account. So instead of payment being taken from the card associated with your account the deduction is made from your credits. You'll see the session in the Charging section of the app but it will be free and you'll also have a section like this;
So you get so many free credits with a new vehicle then?, I ’ve only ever charged at home.
I think they have been giving something 150km with new cars to compensate for low charge levels on delivery.
Agree
30% will get most, but not all, Tesla owners home after collecting I'd imagine.
30% will get you at least 100km any time of year, which would cover anywhere within Dundalk/Gorey/Borris-In-Ossory.
Lol. "Here's your new Tesla. We've thrown in some range anxiety to get you started" 🤣
Did moving to the Tesla increase anyones insurance premium by much?
my renewal is up next month, premium doubled to over €1k. I’ve managed to get that down to €670 by shopping around best I’ve gotten so far. M3H
Father's insurance on ID4 was 350. Found it hard to get Model Y insurance and then when he did it was 980. With three people named on it also.
4 drivers might be the problem here.
