Those heavy showers allowed me to test this out.
We've gone from lovely sunshine to rain and the distant rumble of thunder.
I'm just hoping the rain washes away some of the bird poo that seems to be everywhere.
My black car is looking like a Dalmatian in reverse. I've an event on at the end of the week and I'm fecked if I'm bringing it for a wash before then!
Moving into TA territory, I used to live near a garage that did manual washes, while you sat in the car. Now I'll have to bring it to normal carwash which means removing aerial, which means for short arsed me getting up on a ladder.....the hassle!!!!
Also in Wicklow today, and no showers. I said "rain rain goto Spain" before my walk. I just kept walking.

Thanks. The weather was just perfect. Absolutely my favourite time of the year. And no one around. Really quiet. Think everyone must have gone to the seaside.
Had a few beers with Mrs G earlier with icecream. Sitting back on the patio now having a night cap. Girls in bed. Gonna have a late night meal for one with a movie after I prep the place for rain tomorrow. Ireland!

I had a strange day, started off with a trip to the hospital with my 85 year olf Father...all ok, and back home....but I was just antsy all day…managed a short run but I was on edge….
Well that scare and a trip to hospital would make anyone antsy.
Got some solar lights from my Da today. He's a supplier. Jaysus lads they are the real deal.

That was a stressful start to the day so it's normal to feel on edge. I'm glad your father is ok, your mind always tends to think the worst.

Tired but wired after an evening in Nowlan Park. Bruce and E Street were class as always. Played non stop, high energy for over 3 hours. The weather was absolutely perfect; dry, warm but not overbearing, and not even a hint of rain. Everyone still in tshirts at 10pm. I will agree with people who saw him in Belfast who thought his voice was off, you could tell he had had some throat illness recently but I found as the evening went on, this shifted. By the time he played his classic stuff, he was in flying form. He really interacted with the pit audience, they got their money's worth. Lovely day overall, did a few pubs in the town, bit of food, and catching up with old friends. And I'm off work tomorrow too, so I'm settling in for a long sleep 😊
Deskside in the home office. One advantage of being stuck at home with a leg issue is that you don't have to commute to work in the type of pouring rain we're currently getting down here! Coffee is poured, a tray of cinnamon swirls is in the oven…
