Ukraine is rebuilding even as the war goes on.
We all know who started the war, the other point being made is due to western dithering and political point scoring in the US many more Ukrainians have and will die unnecessarily because they weren't given what they needed to defend themselves from the Russian onslaught.
Your firefighter analogy is flawed.
Yes the arsonist is definitely Russia but the firefighters if they represent western \ US help would show the firefighters arguing amongst themselves on whether they should use the long hose or the short hose, or no hose at all, and they take a slow walk with said hose when the decision has been made, all the while the arsonist is pouring more fuel on the fire.
And yet waiting times for just small sized transformers are measured in years. Turbines for hydro are even more complicated matter as they have to be made on order and guess who is the main manufacturer of them?
Country without energy production and transfer is indeed crippled no matter what you may think about it.
https://www.energy-community.org/news/Energy-Community-News/2024/04/25.html
In response to the pressing needs of the Kherson Region in Ukraine, the Ukraine Energy Support Fund has recently procured a crucial delivery of 27 transformers
Did Ukraine order them a few years ago?
Despite all the destruction caused to Ukraine's energy supply, their lights are still on!
Its already happening like that in the Balkans. Anyone who does not have a military service stamp on his documents will be cut off from any state services, and a lot of private enterprises will take a pretty dim view of it as well. And this is just ordinary compulsory military service for all males when they reach 18 years, and not a war mobilisation.
And Ukraine is largely up and running, can you clarify, do you think it was acceptable for Russia to invade Ukraine? Cause these "ya but..." responses largely seem to happen when somebody is about to come out with a load of propaganda.
For anyone interested in making a donation or doing a trip out.

But you know full well it was not about this point you got negative replies (and it is not censorship either).
An article 5 event
Building in Belgorod exploded. Looks more like a false flag or gas explosion
Russia said 7 dead 15 injured. Blames it on Ukraine (Sky News)
🤣 Yes a fire in a shopping centre is an article 5 event.
Honestly i think some people are hoping for NATO to be dragged into the conflict.
aww serves them right
I see that the Russians have found huge oil and gas deposits in 'British Antartica' They have given assurances that they won't try to develop this.
assurances from a country has a long history of spitting on international treaties?
Anyways Antarctica may as well be the moon for Russia, they gonna have difficulty developing own resources, the gas in arctic only got developed with western (now stolen) assets and know how
I was half joking. But don't forget, Ukraine was given security assurances and was let down. The west has a legal right to go into Ukraine.
You would be inclined to thing was there anything in the talk about re-incarnation……….???
Of course they do
This is not good folks. Reports of some defensive fortifications as non existent. One report which should be a grey zone with minefields.....nothing, Russians passed with ease.
^^
It would be astonishing negligence from Ukraine if they ignored the north border areas. Astonishing.
What have Ukraine being doing for the last two years to counter this ffs??
I really am hoping the rumours that the money assigned for the defense of the North was pocketed by corrupt individuals is not true. Otherwise, Russia will have a much less difficult time than they deserve.
As I said already, you can blame Russia 100 percent for starting and continuing the war and still criticise the West for not doing enough. It's the line often presented by Ukraine itself.
If you can't see that those two things are not mutually exclusive, then I really can't help you.
That some Russian propagandist will twist it for their purposes is irrelevant, they do that to everything and live in a fantasy world
I hope so too but would not be surprising. Ukraine is still very corrupt, as various incidents during the war have shown. Even in an existential struggle there are some who think only of their own profit.
Speculation from Ukrainian soldiers whose lives are on the line:
They knew it was coming-
