All that greenery gives me the creeps
😀 You wouldn't like my house so!
I was thinking it wasn't built as a home at the start.
this pricing seems wildly ambitious, a little over 2m would have you in a proper foxrock mansion nowadays

A fine house but you are still living on top of a heap of other people.
For that money I'd want to be out in the country.
thats true of most houses in Dublin, personally i value being able to walk to amenities but i understand the attraction of splendid isolation also!

I was teasing my other half about the bedroom in this, was surprised to find she was game for it!!!
I would imagine this will appear to someone with deep pockets, it'll be knocked for the fine site it sits on.
That's gorgeous and the cell would certainly lend itself to some kinky fun.
I wasn't expecting that!!!
I actually love it!!!
You can smell the testosterone 😂 very male interior design but I'd happily move in!
Another country manor. 17 houses. 4 islands and 448 acres. €8.5 in Enniskillen. I’d like to know the annual council tax on it though!
I like it - I think its a shame though that it is made up of 3 apartments, it ruins the character IMO. It would be fantastic as a large family home and not 3 apartments.
The Foxrock house is expensive definitely, but a very nice house. A few decor changes (removal of pine ceiling in kitchen, new cabinets etc) and a few other bits and I'd be happy to live in it!
How naïve of me I didn't realise planters still owned property in Ireland. Should be taking off him like it was to poor unfortunate Irish people when they came over.
Taken off who though originally? There’s your problem. Then decide who should get it and why?
There’s a big building in Tipperary I believe, that houses all the records of the land that was taken off the planters and given to the Irish. Try and get access to it. Political bombshell that will cause Irish civil war II. Get orf my land!
Went to Properypal but Rates aren't declared !
Read this in movie trailer guy voice: ‘Just when they thought it was safe to relax in the drawing room. One of the most powerful and secretive arms of the State wasn’t gone, it was just slumbering. The Land Commission is back! And this time it is going to finish what it started…Borders be damned…. This summer….
Jason Statham is the landowner
Stephen Rae is Stephen Rae
Michelle Williams is the American love interest on one side or the other
and since this is an Irish movie it is the law to have Colm Meaney in it as the angry dad.’
My great or great great grandparents were run out of Fermanagh by the locals according to my aul fella. Maybe I’ll get this place as compensation?
Add in Colin Farrell and you're guaranteed a hit!
Planters? they bought the house in 1991.
E8.5m sure gets you a lot in the North. Be nice if it was bought by a descendant of Cathal Óg Mac Maghnusa's clan.
And they bought it for peanuts.
I have no idea what they paid for it. It doesn't make them planters.
.🤣.
Maybe Planter's peanuts aren't as well known as I thought.
Ah, I see. That went over my head.
bless them they really love the exposed brick effect
Heavens, they must have got a job lot in a sale! Along with the plastic flowers.
Mostly when I look at the houses on this thread, I can see past things iykwim, and think okay imagine that room with / without xyz and newly painted or whatever. I can't, with that. Maybe I need more coffee. 😁
Dear lord. With all thats going on here, its impossible to actually see the property.
Surprised the EA didn't tell them to at least declutter a bit. If I was a potential buyer in Cork, I wouldn't give this listing a second look.
"All furniture is included in the sale €" new dining table and chairs, new sofa (three and two-piece), as are a new fridge-freezer, two electric stoves, washing machine, cooker, paintings, mirrors, washing machine."
Eh, no thanks!
You wouldn't mind so much if any of it was real. Did they wallpaper the doors on the kitchen presses?
They did, and blue fablon on the washing machine. I think - its hard to know - that there are six different brick/stone effect papers in the house.
