It is made by BYD aka Build Your Dreams. Hope it comes here and that they change the name before it does,
This could really challenge the Tesla Model 3.
It looks great inside and out
I went in under both handle left right where attached to door.
Although I've never had the issue.
But maybe that's why 🤷🤷
Garage guy did mine, mostly at the rear bit ( front part used to try open on mine and seemed to be held back by the rear bit) but basically spray it everywhere inside the open handle. Mine wouldn't open hardly at all but since done about 2 months ago I have had no issue.
Who told you that? That is incorrect, all models should receive V2L cable.
Hi all. So I jumped to Bord Gais (7.07c 2am-5am) as we have two eVs. I scheduled charging in the car, received the notice that charging would commence at 2am and clicked Ok. No joy overnight, nothing happened. I tested this morning for 11am to watch. Nothing happened. The Ohme charger is showing "Delayed Charging" as you would expect. I will test scheduled charging on the other eV later. Any thoughts? I found this in the manual 😦 "CAUTION ● The scheduled charging function is only developed for slow AC charging equipment supplied by BYD. Please disable this function when using slow AC charging equipment that is not certified by BYD. Otherwise, scheduled or immediate charging may fail due to no response from the equipment, resulting in insufficient battery power or even lack of electricity."
I had an Ohme charger, broke my heart it did with failed charging sessions.
Ripped it out for a Zappi and had no issues since.
Assume your Ohme was set to immediate full charge? Not sure how reliable the Byd timing software is either TBH.
With two EVs the last plan I'd be on is the 3 or 4 hour window plans.
Flogas 12c for 9 hours overnight not worth jumping to with the extra car?
Cheers!
+1 : this is what we're on with two EVs and 15kw of batteries in the house.
just use the Ohme as a ‘dumb’ charger - have it to charge MAX IMMEDIATELY - and set the car to dictate charge time. I had exactly the same issue first time I used it. Never an issue since. Even in this state, if you wished, you could still pause / restart the charge via the Ohme app if you needed to to for any reason.
Mind your bumpers. Rear passenger side. Looks like that plastics paint adhesion issue that was mentioned earlier in the thread. Other side has it too.
Car has just hit 3000 km and getting message on dash please take to BYD service centre for service immediately. Just wondering if anyone else has got that. Was never mentioned by the salesman when I was collecting the car in February
It's set in your service menu, you need to go in and change the value, I think it's 20k but don't quote me best of asking your dealer when first service is.
You can amend the value yourself though .
Thanks listermint will ring them on Monday to clarify
15k or one year on mine.
Wonder why mine came up at 3000 km then, its an awd same as yours?
Will be interesting to see what they tell you. Mine is also AWD and was told 20k or one year. If I can remember rightly mine also came with something like 3k set in the software in the car. When I got my car the software hadn't been fully updated so had to do an ota update myself when I got home so would reckon that setting in the car software comes with the software and not inputed by the garage, from looking on social media different countries have different mileage and time requirements for service
Will let you know when I check with them. As I said previously it was not mentioned at all when collecting the car
I got the same message, its just to reset the service interval to 20.000km thats what I did and the message disappeared.
Thanks Audi20
The brochure states that both cars are V2H “capable”. It doesn’t state the cable is included. Unless I’ve missed something.
Chinese paint control. Maybe related to the rusting post I posted a few weeks back yet was shot down by the usual crew.
Warranty claim, so at least it should be covered.
Tesla had similar issues on some of the Fremont M3’s.
Still no clarity on rusting though. Gas isn't it?
I've got bad paint on my front passenger lower spoiler it came off with pressure washer, not good. Driver side is fine. Considering wrapping the lower spoiler to prevent it's pretty low and exposed.
Mudflaps may also help
You’d want to put soft material between the mudflaps and the bumper as the friction will peel the paint too.
No clarity at all. Owner may have seen paint peel and just assumed. I’ve seen nothing on the Atto taxi anyhow and that’s on the road a lot.
I wouldn’t wrap over paint peel. Not without sanding and smoothing it down as it will be visible through the wrap.
Picked up my Seal laat week and tried charging at EV Charger today (home charger not installed yet). Tried ePower 50kw charger but was getting less than 1kw from it. Tried another charger there but also the same. Gave up and went elsewhere to an Easygo that was also 50kw. Got consistent 22kw out of this. Charging very slow at these speeds. Was I doing something wrong or need to change some settings? Was another car at ePower at start and they had no issues (I moved to their station to try it after they left). At both stops was the only car for majority, battery was warm from driving ~30 mins a d around 10 degrees.
What % battery was the car at?
Your spoiler is painted? Mine is just black plastic. Unless we're talking about two different things.
You are correct. Splitter not spoiler. Gloss black.
Was at 16%
