Unique opportunity to purchase this low mileage, one owner suburb example of this modern classic

That's been cleaned up a bit since I saw it last!
Nice colour combo, an investment, can see a car like that asking 15k in 10 years
Wheeler Dealer car. Had a recent mot, offers

Rare estate Camry, one owner 2389.00
Think I have seen a car for sale by this crowd on Pistonheads "shed of the week" before. The language in the ad is hard to forget and distinctly unfriendly
Needs some work done too. Though I like them a lot.
Almost no mileage done in the past 3 years. I doubt all these issues have been rectified.
Honda Legend 1993 3.2 Automatic.

2500 would buy it I'd say.
A project, at reasonable price

I reckon the UK classic market will contract and anything outside either proper well maintained classics or cars in good nick and old enough to be daily ulez avoiding daily drivers will end up plummeting in value as the recession starts to bite. Some of the "classics" on the link above are at unhinged prices.
I know this post is not exactly keeping in the spirit of this thread (unless you just won the Euro Millions😁), but rather than start a new one I'll post here.
Just seen an ad for this in the MB club magazine, ex John Lennon, George Harrison and Mary Wilson! In the printed ad there is a picture of John getting out of it, but not online. Other stock includes a 250 GTO, F40 and DB3S.
Mercedes Classic Magazine is great for stories on iconic cars like that. They interviewed a 600 engineer in the last issue who travelled the world delivering the 600’s to their new customers and training the local dealer on how to work on the car by dismantling and reassembling most of it over a few days.
The new customers being Heads of State, Dictators, Kings, Elvis etc. he mentioned no names but some of these people spent hours with him talking cars, he said.
It’s pretty cheap and worth subscribing to if you’re a Merc person.

Yes I get it as part of the club membership. And yes that interview was interesting, seeing all the spares he lugged around the world too!
This magazine is free if you are a Mercedes Benz Club member
That’s how I started getting it. I didn’t bother renewing my membership last year so the club magazine stopped arriving but I’ve gotten a few issues of the Classic one since then. Must be a breakdown in communication somewhere along the way.
Passat coupe in Japan in the auctions. Hadn’t seen one of these before.

Available in 3 and 5 door hatch, 2 and 4 door saloon and 5 door estate
They were common enough on the continent in the 70s and 80s. Always liked them.
Three door Disco bought new by my Dad in 1993 and passed to me 12 years ago. Only 90k miles and rock-solid runner but with some of the usual patina and battle scars. Recent cambelt change. Next MOT due 27/11/2024, Green, 2 owners, £2,000

These will go up and up in value, needs a make over, but it's all there and in mot
Isn’t there a LR group dedicated to saving 3 door Disco’s? Fairly sure that they had a stand at the Birmingham show last year.
Best of luck with the sale.
XM's were being discussed on another thread, so here's a couple….
UK reg, new MOT, 'shabby chic', a handy doer upper over a couple of years that you can use as a daily driver or second car. Seems to be a very honest ad.
£1600. No idea what they're like today with valuing stuff like this, so no idea what it would cost registered here.

And if LHD doesn't bother you, then this one could be here on an Irish reg for about €2900. Has a couple of marks and scratches according to the owner. Chrome arches may be hiding a surprise down the road.
1991, €2,100 and a transferrable TUV till 12/25. 2.0i petrol saloon.
(It's on mobile.de if the link doesn't work)

They are two nice finds. Found myself browsing XM’s and Xantias recently too. LHD is probably a better buy for these as you could sell it back to the continent or US either. Saw Doug DeMuro review a V6 Xantia that went for big money on his site after due to it’s rarity.
1993 Volvo 480 ES Manual £1,590
I point blank refuse to read any further in a car advert that opens with "here we have"
Toyota Camry 3.0 V6 GX with full Navy Blue leather interior. A super example of the early 90's executive model...It's a modern classic!! 3k ono
