I think he's not great with current affairs panel discussions, but agree he's very good at the personal interviews. Overall I still enjoyed PBH more when he filled in, but he would not do half the job of Brendan in the sensitive, one-to-one conversations. I will say also, that I actually really enjoyed Brendan when he had the Saturday night show on TV.

Reporting on the deliberate killing of children, journalists, aid workers, medical staff and civilians generally along with total destruction of civilian infrastructure isn't "anti Israeli propaganda".
Neither is reporting why this is happening.
Hostages being held and the tactics of Hamas getting very little mention.
Not endorsing what the Israelis are doing but there are two sides to the story.

Very good and interesting interviews with Rushdie and Tucci.

In fairness the BBC a regular book of the week slot. Prophet Song was featured recently.
She’s heavy on the pronouncing ‘e’ as ‘a’ in truth….. as in prougrass instead of progress.
