That is not a home, it is advertised as owning the 2 rooms and leasing them to the hotel on a 35 year lease. The hotel then operates the business of running a hotel whilst not actually owning the rooms.
Yea ad is unclear, says a suite, shows a hotel room, could you buy it and rent it to the IPA ?
I've seen it all now.
A homeless person.
who would live in a hotel like this : https://www.daft.ie/for-sale/property-grand-canal-hotel-grand-canal-street-upper-grand-canal-dock-co-dublin/5677803
I like this. When you arrive, you think it is a bungalow but it isn't.
The layout is not perfect though. It looks like you can't access the house from the garage.
Heavens, yes! The sink and the cooker. It would be enough to move house for!
Well it is Yeats' county 😂
I hadn't noticed the practicalities of the cooker & sink in that kitchen but you're right…if you want to drain your pasta or strain your spuds (not a euphemism) you have to trek around the island to get to the sink. Not ideal. Maybe they aren't big on cooking at home 😁
If it were me, going from the floor plans, I'd probably convert the current office into a third single bedroom, and convert the walk in closet to a smaller office.
While a WIC is lovely, its a luxury, arnd the bedrooms are big enough for wardrobes!
Or alternatively, convert the outbuilding / garage to an office.
Yes the island in between the sink and hob would be annoying.
Also, how big is WB Yeats' head?!
Gorgeous house but having the sink and the hob on opposite sides of the island would drive me demented. I'd end up using the utility sink.
Why is there a walk in closet off the main hall but no main guest bathroom? It's a lot of house for only 2 bedrooms.
That is gorgeous.
Only thing that is definitely CG there is the "water" in the pool in #24. The outdoor shots seem to have some funky HDR and a large depth of field that make them look a little off, but that's just the camera settings and maybe some postprocessing.
These images are CGI… and cheap ones at that.
Hmmmm . . . "a lot bigger from the inside", well, "if it looks too good to be true it probbly is"?
A lot to love about that house. They went a bit mad on the blue / grey tones, and I don't like the panelling in the narrow hall, (pic 23, might be better if it was white) but that's easily enough changed.
Love that bathroom.
It has the potential to be made gorgeous though. But 15 bedrooms is a lot!
As for this room with all the files, I can already feel myself breaking out in hives and choking on the dust!
One good thing that came out of the pandemic, my own office is now completely paperless.
The door does lead into the office. Very stuffy wallpaper and curtains, and they shouldn't have put tarmacadam on the driveway, but it is a lovely house.
No picture of the swimming pool/ballroom though.
Yeah, noticed that! Presume it's into the office in the next pic
Same, I love the house and grounds, though a lot of it is, not all the decor is horrible (example, 16/38 is a nice room imo). The whole house is a mix of old and modern!
Does the bedroom in picture 27 (the one with the big mural on the wall) have a secret door?
What do we think the price is???
I love the house and grounds, decor not to my taste. I'm gonna guess around 1.3 million.

That's a lot of money for only two bedrooms and no bathroom that a guest can get to without going into one of those two bedrooms!
I like it, now I just need money!
The quality of the photos is a total distraction and completely deflects your interest from the house. Difficult to believe that the EA will get somewhere between €5 and €10k for this miserable effort.
And despite all this the video got made in the kitchen:
Wow, that's gorgeous!
And C2 a far better BER than I was expecting.
And never mind the kitchen, even the garage is (partially) carpeted! 🤣
Haven’t been inside that house in approx 20 years, and not much changed since then. Sad to see it empty
That house no longer exists, by the looks of the light outside an alien spaceship has beamed it off with it
Oh that's badly done. It's really distracting as well. I was going through the photos wondering how much worse they could get rather than looking at the actual rooms.
