Meanwhile, I want to go on the record saying I love the gaelic football coverage on Second Captains. Flynn, Murphy and McConville are/were all great contributors. The GAA pods are the ones I look forward to most, a few years ago I would have laughed if someone said that was ever going to happen.

The thoughts of Ken listening to that Terry podcast were hilarious. Just hook it to his veins ha.
Listened to the Richie pod with Donie O'Sullivan morning. It was the most generic of generic mental health podcasts that had been heard so many times.
My life was good, then I struggled, then I did things to help, then I struggled, then I did more things to help and here I am now.
It's super important to look after your mental health, no questioning that. But these sorts of pods are almost rote and it could have been anybody speaking. We didn't get any sort of real insight into his work or the current political climate in the US.
Richie has a tendency to do this with previous pods, but I thought with the Vera Pauw episode he had made a shift. No such luck.

I tend to agree on this. I like Richie in a football capacity but he has a tendency to go deep and stay deep in general chats. I think its good its a separate podcast and not broadcast under the secondcaptains podcast directly as its just not for me but i'm sure it'll be right up some folks alleys.
