Alcohol can't have rewards promotions, by law in Ireland. You don't get clubcard points or dunnes stores vouchers or supervalue real rewards either. Law came in Jan 2021
Except we have in the past, and some are still reporting that they are getting a scratchcard.
Spent €11.10 just now including alcohol. Got scratch card.
They have some rule that we're missing.

I was recently but in the last applicable transaction last week (>€10 with alcohol, <€10 without) I didn't get a scratcher so they obviously fixed what clearly was an error.

I'd be interested to know what alcohol you bought. It worked for me recently with various crafty beers but didn't work last week with the Lidl Plus wine.
So I wonder if it's a case of them not having certain alcohol lines properly flagged on their Lidl Plus system.

Those onions are tasty, often use them to bring extra crunch to salad. And as you suggest, great on a burger

Crispy fried onions? they are addictive beware! In fact, it was the thought that i might be able to make them with it that caused me to get an air fryer. No joy yet.
