Yeah, getting picked up in a couple places now
I'm really curious who Putin thought were the European countries debating whether to legalise pedophilia in 2014….
My guesses are Ukraine and anyone who is in NATO.
The sheer pettiness and bitterness from the dictatorship never ceases to out-do itself
I thought the us had some law where they had to declare what they send in aid to other countries
More on this secret supply of ling range ATACMS last week
Ukraine already has long-range ATACMS missiles, secretly delivered last week by the Biden administration. They were quickly used to hit a Russian airfield in Crimea and to wallop enemy troops in the occupied port of Berdiansk, US officials told @NYTimes
I suspect all dictators are deeply insecure.
Brandalf brings gifts and good tidings
Anyone who uses the word 'sheeple' should be pitied IMO.
Are ATACMS powerful enough to hit knock the Kerch bridge out of action? Would you need a cuise missile with the trajectory to hit the supports?
The bridge isn't nearly as important anymore after Russia built new railway lines Ukraine might be better off targeting elsewhere.
@buzzerxx threadbanned
It’s not pettiness. It’s actually the very crux of authoritarianism and oppression, its dark beating heart. Human decency, courage and dignity have to be targeted, punished and stamped out. Everyone has to be either completely docile/corrupted, or in prison/dead. There is no other way for such a regime to function. The majority of sheep have to be too scared to even look sideways. All the best stories from the USSR or GDR (to name just two regimes out of a myriad……) are about that and only that, in the final analysis.
Its much more than a bridge to Putin..Ukraine is blowing up ammo factorys, Refineries and all manner of military targets, and Putin is not happy about it but he accepts it, however the Kerch Bridge is personal. This was supposed to be one of his crowning achievements. He will be very upset when that bridge comes down ,, inconsolable in fact, I'd say.
I'd love to see the railway section collapsed.
He'll throw his toys out of the pram.
By toys I mean critics, and pram I mean windows.
Yes, and especially it was carrying a fully loaded train at the time? (assuming that is still capable of carrying trains?)
Yes, he will!! And another positive effect might be to remind him that if his bridge can be destroyed, he is not immortal either!!
I don't know if those missiles are enough to destroy the bridge, nor do I even know the strategic value in doing so, but I do know that few things seem to anger Putin more than his precious Crimean bridge being targeted and hit, so there could be value in going at it just for that reason if there's a good opportunity. I mean, it would be a finely balanced decision because it could make Putin mad enough to make a rash unwise order, or it could just make him conscript a load more troops and launch a blitz of missiles strikes. One for the Ukrainian top brass, if they get the right toys…
Blowing up the bridge has already proven Putin's response is to fire as many cruise missiles as he can out of anger.
Not taking a certain course of action because it might offend Putin, is not the way to deal with him. He attacks whatever he wants to attack, and he'll keep doing that until he's stopped. And he has to be stopped, it's the only way and the sooner the better!
I certainly wouldn't target it until there was significant improvement in air defence. Otherwise your putting civilians in even higher levels of danger than necessary.
This is positive. Shame on Scholz for again ruling out Taurus delivery. Ukraine has shown time and again that they use these weapons responsibly
I never said it was I merely commented on the outcome which proves Ukraine should do it. The missiles Russia wastes like this the better.
Biden has started the groundwork for FY25 package

Ink is not even dry on the FY24 and already the administration has begun flying the kites for continued long term support. Well done Biden
Anyways a very catchy song for your morning coffees 😂
Recently, Putin has been concentrating 100% on civilian targets, and infrastructure. He's been dropping 1500 and 3000 kg glide bombs on them. If he had even heavier bombs, he would use them too. And he's not going to stop either, because he knows that his time to do this is limited and when Ukraine begins using the new weapons they will soon receive, a lot of his launch sites will be put out of action. So, I'd say, go ahead and take down the bridge on or before the 9th of may, if possible. But take it down anyway ASAP. The level of danger to civilians is not going to change.
i misunderstood you, I thought you meant that by not hitting certain targets, Putin might not respond so harshly. But yes, the more he fires now, the less there will be to fire later on. And of course the quicker new air defence is put in place, and the airports and launch sites taken out the better.

More good news hopefully. Seems like Greece didn't take their Prime minister nearly being blown up lightly.
Biden and Co at the weekend
ah, coo-cooshenko and his stories.
