Whether or not Trump wears a nappy is pretty irrelevant. It's pretty far down the list of qualities that give reason to doubt his ability to lead. That much more lies, for me, in things like whipping a crowd of people into surrounding/storming the US Capitol for no good reason, and leaving a load of classified documents laying around his house, as well as deliberately refusing to give them back, forcing an FBI raid.

The court that matters to Trump here is the "court of public opinion" as it were.
His intent in testifying will be more about telling the world how much of a victim he is etc.
The risk for him is being asked about other stuff and the details of his general awfulness being played on repeat between now and November.
Having been a juror on 2 criminal trials in the US in 2 different states, one thing I learned is, the defense can change their plea any time. I wonder if TFG milks the trial for a bit, then turns tail with some non-custodial plea agreement, though it would include a conviction.
Just my musings, haven't seen anything online talking about it, though next week should be interesting.

The most interesting thing about Trump's longtime association with the WWE and former-CEO, Vince McMahon is how much McMahon is alike. Numerous corruption and sex crime allegations. Has sexualised his own daughter too. Listened to a very revealing podcast on it a while back.
Friend of mine is big into his wrestling. The ties with Vince McMahon are infinitely more interesting than this nappy nonsense.

Trump has been friendly with the McMahons for many years, and even gave Vince's (now estranged) wife Linda a role in his government as head of the Small Business Administration.
Reports are that Vince McMahon has been busy rekindling ties with Trump, which would potentially benefit McMahon in many ways including a possible pardon for any allegations against him which turn criminal or even getting some sort of cabinet position as his wife Linda did. I'm sure McMahon would be gagging to get something that put him in a position of power over the entire professional wres uh, sports-entertainment business and really stick it to the people who forced him out of it.
