Another one bites the dust....
He's only 36!!
Who'd want to be a part of that caucus? The only requirement for a GOP House member now is to swear allegiance to Donald Trump. They don't achieve anything, or work for the American people. It must be the most miserable job in the entire US at the moment.
very dangerous of CNN etc. giving out juror details there is a real risk unfortunately that they or their family members may be killed or injured by a fanatic if a former president is jailed while running for office
In the case of the Juror was asked to be removed , it was Fox News that outed her and indeed claimed she was a "risk" to Trump.
They described her job ( A nurse) , where she lived , that she had a degree and that she lived with her Fiancé who worked in Finance.
So basically anyone who knew her would immediately know it was her.
Just ridiculous.
At most they should be allowed to say , Female in her 30's or something.
** To be fair - NBC was MUCH worse
Juror 2A woman who lives on Upper East Side and works as an oncology nurse at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She is engaged and likes to spend time with family and friends and take her dog to the park. She gets news from CNN, The New York Times, Google and Facebook.

WAY to much detail for someone supposed to be being kept anonymous.
I am very, very surprised that the whole jury selection process is not done in a TOTALLY confidential environment and all the info in relation to them is kept TOTALLY confidential until the court case is over - or at least up to the point where it has to be made available to the public. The sole reason being that none of them can be influenced, bribed ,coerced, bullied threatened, pressurised, etc, by either side.
I assume only a handful would be aware of who is selected x on a need to know basis eg a court clerk to present each potential juror and to note decisions taken,, a solicitor from each side and that’s it.
Could the judge in charge not have ‘tightened up’. The situation before they started the jury selection process. the Trump side is going to have a field day if the names of the selected jurors get out
Might aswell just throw up the name and photo FFS.
12 jurors now. 6 alternates still needed. Going fast.

"I'm supposed to be in New Hampshire, I'm supposed to be in Georgia, I'm supposed to be in North Carolina, South Carolina. I'm supposed to be in a lot of different places campaigning, but I've been here all day on a trial that really is a very unfair trial," Trump said as he came out of the courtroom after the day's proceedings wrapped.
No, Donald. You're exactly where you should be. Running for President is a choice. Answering in court for alleged crimes is not.
Looks like I'll be breaking out my favourite gif next week.....
nice drawing
Donald hears ya. Donald don't care.
These types of pronouncements are meant for his cult in order to keep them angry.
Look at how Jesse Waters is behaving on Fox News, and that's with a camera on him. Now imagine what the average MAGA loon must be saying about the trial on Telegram. There isn't much they won't try, if they can, to block proceedings, including doxxing jurors and intimidating judges and/or families of same, and their anger is directly fed by Trump's wittering on the courthouse steps or on his social media.
judge doesnt seem to be doing a good job protecting the jurors
Justice must not only be done, it must be seen to be done. Very rarely are trials held in camera. The whole point of the justice system is that it's not done in a totally confidential environment. What sort of trust would people have in a system where they can't see what's going on?
Jurors are not referred to by name. As soon as you report in the courthouse and before you enter the courtroom, you are assigned a number. Even the judge doesn't know your name, you are merely referred to, or addressed as, "Juror number X."
Eamonn Andrews gave vaguer clues to the surprise guests on this is your life then that description.
Yeah of course. Don knows exactly what he's doing. Turning these trials into campaign events is about his best bet of being re-elected in November. How people can still think he's pro-US while he continually undermines public trust in just about anything is truly beyond me.
Every accusation is an admission..
Only the best.
And most loyal.
What we have here is jury intimidation, the jury and their families are now in danger from the Trump cult and crime organisation
Would they be shown in TV footage or courtroom drawings/photos?
Some media seem determined to help identify jurors while Trump continues to defy gag order.

Not "some" media, specifically right wing media
Technically, she felt like she could be, not necessarily that she was. But, yes, the general principle is why in the courtroom I'm "Juror Number 75" or whatever, not "Mr Manic". Even though they all know I'm a tall white guy with an Irish accent. You will recall during the Rittenhouse trial, an NBC journalist was barred for following the jurors from the courthouse. It's one of the better compromises we have between the safety of the jurors and the integrity of the system as a whole.
Bit pedantic
is a special criminal court a thing in US, where hardened criminals are tried?
Theres no way they aren't all getting Doxxed with the insane details being published.
No. When John Gotti was convicted, which was the one of the first of the modern era high profile cases, it was in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of New York. It was, however, when the practice of referring to jurors by number, not name, got started. In the Gotti case, the jurors were also sequestered, put up in a secure location, for additional security. This was the case for the Rittenhouse trial as well. Using numbers is cheap, so it's commonly done now. Putting jurors up in hotels is a special case, it's expensive (and hard on the jurors). But there's no 'special' court involved. Everyone is equal before the law, as it were.
5 alternates to go. All Friday to select. Looks like jury instructions and opening arguments Monday. Prosecutors begin.
In fairness, to my knowledge despite the national coverage and emotion and I would argue to a larger extent than the Trump trial, not a single one of the Rittenhouse jurors has been identified in the two years plus which have passed since. I might have a bit more faith in New York than you do.
