Down to 6,500 now. Buy buy buy!
On that one, you could at least argue that a greater portion of BL and Rover dustbins were scrapped (or died of rust) and as a consequence they're somewhat rarer now than a 90s Corolla.
100%. These were the equivalent of Dacia Dusters or whatever else today back in the 90’s. You can see it across the classic car market, these lower end, white goods cars never attract a premium (except in England where they w@€£ themselves silly over BL and Rover dustbins!)
€330 saving in yearly road tax from 2026 is not going to sell that car though.
If it's desirable at €56 per year it'd be desirable at €385. And it isn't.
Since when is Toyota Corolla considered a real head turner :)
€56 < €385
My first ever car was a 1.3 saloon Corolla in the same colour as this one (1994 reg)
I sold it for about 2000 euros in 2007 in perfect working condition
Haha, an auld lads car if there ever was one.
They were usually ran into the ground by farmers
He’s obviously pricing in the price premium for it being on the cheap tax in 2 years time now. If there weren’t so many photos, I’d say that this is a wind up.
It's a real head turner though, apparently.
You leave the 'rollas alone you scut….. I've had more near-death experiences as a child with the grandmother 'behind' the wheel in one of those than worth counting. I'd love one for the thrill alone. Goosebumps thinking about the rubber gearstick gaitor and non-requirement to service it, ever.
That lad is gas though, fair play Thomas thanks for the entertainment
If it was in original showroom condition I could see the attraction to a Toyata fanactic/anorak
but nowhere near this asking price. Mental money and mental that some folk think they are worth
this.
None of his "upgrades" really count as butchery in my eyes. Not sure about the seat covers, but generally they don't do anything good or bad for the car, imo.
The bigger problem is it's just a Toyota Corolla. A 28 year old Toyota Corolla. On what planet is it worth €7500?
There seems to be an occasional belief from sellers that an old car that's been minded = €€€€€€€€€. But if there was nothing special or interesting about the car when it was new, chances are it won't be desirable 30 years later.
Full leather? There's more leather on the soles of my shoes than in that car!
"put full leather seats in... " look like full vinyl seat covers to me.
I've never seen the attraction to those, I'd imagine anyone wanting one wouldn't buy it butchered like that one with all his "upgrades"
A bargain at 7.5k having originally been listed at near-as-makes-no-difference 10k 😁

Fell asleep on the keyboard when entering the price!
You can get a 2014-15 X5 for in and around what he's looking for. It has to be a wind up. Although some people put values on processions that no one would ever entertain.
Working on the assumption that this is someone’s second car, a quick glance at DoneDeal show you can get a 2004 911, a 1993 BMW 850 or a 450SEL 6.9 all for around that money. They’re not SUV’s but I’m sure a quick search in the UK would turn up an Overfinch Range Rover.
This X5 ad has to be a wind up?
36k for a CAT D 20 year old X5.
Ding ding we have a winner folks.
Oh and its a commercial. 😂
Model S are a lovely looking car for sure, but what condition would the batteries be in after 10yrs. Tesla battery warranty is up after 8yrs…that would be enough to keep me away.
Is there an extra zero on that ad? €36k for a 20 year old X5? What the actual and literal f?
Not a dreamer at all
While I'd value it closer to 20k its not that bad of a deal. Lots of 10 year old cars go for more than that and this seems in good nick.
22k for a 10 year old Tesla!
I'd love to know who has the money (€36,000) to buy these "toys" because that's all they are.
They tyre paint screams idiot to me.
A very "unic" ad indeed. Some of the bits done on it have devalued the car if anything nevermind it being written off.

For a Cat D?
